If you'd like to know where those alunimun profiles and plastic connects are from (if you'd like to order the same) I can try to look it up.

Hey!
Ah, depends on what quality you want in your image but generally, scenes can be optimized very, very much, but at some point it really starts to affect the visual appearance (compare with pc games that can fit huge sceneries in 4gb mem).
I've added vram optimization to the dropbox paper list, I'll show what i usually do in the next video :)

Hi Johannes,
Currently i'm still experimenting with Fstorm and rendering with a single gtx 970 with 4GB RAM. When i try to render my interior scene i often get the error: out of memmory.
Do you have any suggestions for optimising the scene for minimising memmory usage? or do i realy need a 12 gb ram GPU :P

Sorry I totally forgot to mention that. Yes you will not notice any speed difference at all. The splitters are making the gpus run at pcie 4x instead of 16x but the only difference you'll notice is that loading the scene into memory might take a few seconds longer :-)

Does it mean that this splitters really give the same speed as PCI Express 3.0 in motherboard do?
