FAQ - Billing & Dates
Patreon bills for a given month at the start of the next month. For example, if you Patron'd for November, then it would be billed between December 1st & 4th. This would get you the Patreon rewards for the month of November. Once Patreon has a complete list, we'll ship out - usually by the 7th.
Why?
Alright, so on Patreon you can charge for a month at the end of a month, or you can charge immediately upon joining, with Patreon defaulting to the former. This means that, for example, November 2019 would be billed between 1st & 4th of December 2019. That's when we get the list of completed Patrons for November, which then allows us to get shipping.
The other setting is immediate payment for a month upon joining. This might seem like it makes the most sense, but it has a potential downside: accidental billing. If you joined on the 24th of November, you'd be charged then. You'd then be automatically charged for December on the 1st of December. My suspicion is that this would lead to many accidental double billings, which wouldn't be fair.
So yeah, it's unintuitive as heck, but I think it's the best way to deal with things. I'll come up with a default post/explainer video for when people join up at the tier.

My first payment/bill however you want to phrase it for this patreon on the master tier was in July. I then of course paid in August and just now in September. Haven't received anything yet. Which feels bad to me in my eyes I paid out 75$ so far in terms of the physical loot.
