I was inspired by Elden ring.

Tomorrow’s release is the last one … of july!! And also the last one of, what you could describe as the Lay of the Land.
What does that mean? Why that title?
Well, the title… you’ll notice that the track does have kind of phase changes, its very slow for a boss track and its creepy as F. I tried to capture the heavy stomp of that moving hut and the dark and eerie-stinky ambience of the place in general. So, for my musical theory buff, it translate into a lot of chromatisme and atonality.
But still, there is a tonal point in D minor, like the ambient track I made for the ruins before this one. So those 2 blend together pretty well.
Now, what is the lay of the land? It’s pretty much all the places that are not Castle/amber temple related. The old one here knows, I usually do one track or two for each chapters. This time around, the castle and the amber temple will have a lot of tracks to themselves since they’re very important and iconic locations.
So, that’s where we are headed.
