Checking In

I figure I'm long overdue for a check in post. I've just been putting it off because I know I'll just be repeating the same stuff from my previous posts, but I at least want you all to know I'm alive and we're still intending to fire an update your way as soon as we are able.
I think this significant delay was a long time coming, the culmination of years of mounting burnout and creative exhaustion. You know what they say about hindsight, and looking back, I think making Sileo my primary source of income back in 2021 was what started this downward spiral. Funds are far tighter than they were back then, but my situation otherwise hasn't changed since. I've long recognized that the right thing to do would have been to take a break or even a hiatus quite some time ago, but when Sileo is what pays my rent, stopping for any reason is not an option.
So, with that in mind, an update will be coming. Thank you all so much for your patience, and I apologize profusely for the long wait. The situation being what it is, I cannot reasonably offer an ETA at this stage beyond "when its done." I am hopeful that will be in the month to come, but I cannot make any assurances at this stage.
As an aside, I've been trying to come up with interesting scenarios I could write instead as a source of inspiration and a way of rebuilding some momentum. One idea I've toyed with is a small tale whose direction and outcome will be determined by comments and/or a poll here on Patreon. Depending on your feedback, it could a serious and romantic little story, or... well, a chaotic shitshow, if that's what y'all choose! I'd be aiming for a short turnaround time between each chapter with each piece written to suit as the results came in.
I'm still toying with this idea for now, looking for a specific premise or contrivance that piques my interest and gets the ball rolling, so for now, I'll leave you with the following hypothetical:
A drunken Eric foolishly made a bet that he could convince Lukas to go out on a date with him. A hungover Eric the following morning now realizes he's about to lose a decent chunk of money if he doesn't somehow pull it off. It is then he discovers a hand-delivered box left at his front door. Within are three specific items provided by his drinking buddies he might utilize or offer as a gift to pull off this monumental wager. What items have his friends provided him with? And how might he use them to convince Lukas to give him a shot?

completely understandable, take your time, honestly a few side story stuff would be a cool idea, like jay x eric and Logan x Tobias and this scenario is quite interesting owo hmm could be something silly maybe a coupon where he doesn't flirt with him for an entire week , or maybe give him something whole like give him cat toys so he can spend time with lukas at his house with his cat or maybe it's a blackclaws cd and uses it to bring up a talk, also a weird ide a extra hours contract where he works overtime and he gets some sexy time with Lukas instead of bonus money e3e eric would totally be into that but doet lukas will, though since he done friends with benefits with tai who knows this could be an arrangement, and might actually make eric work harder and be less of a hornball at work
