2024-11-22 17:53:18 +0000 UTCOf course !!!! There’s a bunch of cool stuff. The zoo passes go dumb fast but there’s a lot of other cool stuff too. The Japanese Friendship Garden was my absolute fave

2024-07-07 17:40:59 +0000 UTCI need to find a library story to read for the podcast. I want to make a goal for everyone to get a local library card!

2024-07-02 05:27:27 +0000 UTCOmg you guys shouting out libraries and all the resources they have made my heart so happy. As someone who works at a library, YES we have SO much. Our library, (Solano County, aka "Mychal the librarian" library) we are working on carrying and borrowing out tools. We also have bakeware, instruments, park passes, tarot card sets, VIDEO GAMES, and so much more. Check out your local library, get your tax dollars worth of resources and free stuff!

2024-07-01 15:15:30 +0000 UTCshe’s almost kind of living vicariously through the children it seems to get that love she didn’t receive as a child? not sure how to explain it but I had neglectful parents growing up and when I imagine my boyfriend as a dad, it gives me good butterflies knowing how loving he will be. it’s just kind of an appreciation for them

2024-06-30 00:45:17 +0000 UTCI feel like this is a relatively common feeling for those who grew up in abusive households. Like for me, I'm yet to experience a healthy family dynamic, but between my therapy and learning what a healthy family looks like through Bluey (yes, I know it's a kid show, but I'm an Aussie) I am slowly unpacking that pain and trauma. I don't think it's something that'll ever go away, but if OP is willing to continue growing and working through her trauma, I think she has the potential for a great relationship with her boyfriend.

2024-06-29 03:08:11 +0000 UTCI understand her feelings of not getting what she needed as a child. I don’t think she has bad intentions whatsoever. I don’t think it’s jealousy it’s just a longing for what she didn’t receive as a kid. Therapy when possible will be best and then to have a healthy convo with her boyfriend.

2024-06-28 23:34:57 +0000 UTCI think she was just wondering if the feeling she is having are weird ,wishing you had a dad like your partner . Or is it like you said some type of trauma healing thing .
