Caxi portrait and some crow washes

Not only is her tongue sticking out (classic), it also looks like such a school-picture-day kind of portrait. Reminds me of the time I hid my picture day photos in the bottom of my desk drawer because I thought I looked so bad. Being a kid was weird! I'm not finished with the painting, but I'd like to start working on my comic for the week so I'm posting it here in the meantime.
And here are some ink-washed crows that I've been doing as quick warm-ups (working on a comic with some flying crow action).
