Wow! Let me first say, (And I hope this comment doesn't get taken out of context or seen as anything other than what it is....100% genuine.) awesome reading Lauren!! I know how much you hate public speaking/reading and to take on something of this magnitude, emotionally and unfortunately politically, damn girl! 🔥 Onto the actual story. NEVER MAKE A PERMANENT DECISION BASED ON A TEMPORARY EMOTION. I absolutely agree with Justin about taking the time (if you have it) to make a fully thought out, rational decision based off of what is going to be best for you overall. The fact that OP is even considering putting herself through one of if not THE MOST immensely emotional, physical, mental, medical life changing experiences ever shows so much strength in and of itself. The fact that there are people berating, judging and threatening her is sick. They might as well be sitting right next to OPs ex giving him a high five because they're basically on the same level on the douche canoe odometer. Take away the politics entirely. They have zero right being in, on or around anyone's body. Autonomy PERIOD. I have been through the fucking wringer health and fertility wise. Multiple miscarriages, ectopic pregnancy and then a heart attack when I was pregnant with my daughter that resulted in me losing her twin at 22 weeks and her being born 8 weeks premature. As if that wasn't enough, my uterus ruptured and I had to have an emergency hysterectomy when she was 5 months old. OP could have a perfect pregnancy with zero issues and a healthy, happy, beautiful baby if SHE wants to. Whatever she decides, I pray she does so with her own feelings above anyone else's. ❤️

Just the fact that he reacted that drastically to the news of not being able to have kids is hard to ignore and shouldn’t be ignored. I understand he’s struggling with huge news that changes his life and that’s so hard but to get to the point of cheating. I just think cheating is gross and careless and makes me personally question the whole person that’s able to cheat like that. Especially if she’s an escort, that makes it more icky

And I have to agree with some other comments-glad you also feel this is a safe space because I can also imagine how much of an uproar this would have caused on the public Page. 2024-02-26 14:03:39 +0000 UTCi’m happy you guys feel like patreon is a safe space bc i love you guys!! this story was heavy but interesting one. i don’t think i would ever be able to look at the kid and not constantly think of their deadbeat cheating dad lol. i wonder if it would cause intense PPD or could lead to unintended resentment down the line towards the child by the mother. totally agree that teens need to be truly educated about safe sex too!

2024-02-25 22:44:38 +0000 UTCObviously whatever she chooses is the right decision for her, but the fact that she’s even considering keeping it for his sake shows how much more empathetic and selfless she is than a guy who, best case scenario reacted to feeling insecure by hurting the person he’s supposed to love. Imagine how that type of person would treat their child. How would he treat an 8 year old that didn’t show interest in a sport he cared about? A bratty 13 year old? An emotionally fragile 16 year old?

However, at the end of the day he cheated and if he can do it once he can do it again and who knows how much of the truth he’s telling about her being as escort and the fact they were not only in the bed THEY shared together but they were insulting her? This makes me think he’s built resentment towards OP and who knows if this is the only person he’s done it with, I truly wish OP nothing but healing
