100% this! I listen/watch a TON of true crime podcasts and documentaries. I listen to THT because it’s NOT true crime. She does HER content so well that nothing else compares. I listen to her, and now pay her lol, to hear this content. I have listened to every episode, with the exception of the spooky or true crime stories. If I want that content, then I listen to the podcast that that kind of content is their specialty. I’d be excited for her to branch out, but I think she can branch out into a different area instead of this saturated market.

Not sure if this has been said before, but if you do decide to do true crime, I think ones that aren’t SO dark or scary would be better. I personally don’t listen to true crime because of how dark they can get - so maybe just choosing stories that aren’t so hardcore could be helpful

People are allowed to feel negatively about a potential change in programming. People are allowed to want to unsubscribe if things change. Morgan asked for opinions, and people are giving their honest opinion on the potential change. I'm not sure how any comment here has made this not a safe space. Nobody is discriminating against, criticizing, or harassing a particular person or group of people. Safe spaces aren't required to always be positive, that would defeat the purpose.

I was in a Facebook group with one of the victims and had a lot of people pushing to sympathize with me when I didn't even know her personally. I had to block all of them because it was way too much for me. Don't give him any more time and attention, he's an absolute monster.

Not necessarily a true crime story but it’s close. The Clayton Echard paternity scandal. An ex bachelor from the bachelor reality tv show got accused of getting this woman pregnant. Turns out they only ever had oral sex and she went to the press to blackmail him into a relationship. Also turns out she’s done this to two other men.
