2024-09-18 02:07:45 +0000 UTCI used to take a medication that gave me insanely vivid dreams, and they were LONG. Not months like that one person, but a few hours to a full day usually. And they were so realistic I would regularly confuse them with reality. Like if I dreamt of someone in my life, then later on I’d be like “remember when…” or ask them a question about it it and they’d be like wtf are you talking about? The weirdest part it how repetitive they were. I was ALWAYS going somewhere (think trying to catch a train) in the same fake city my brain made up. Almost always real people in my life, but every thing else was fiction. Tbh I really enjoyed these dreams, made me excited to go to bed every night like I was gonna watch a movie lmao

2024-03-12 00:44:04 +0000 UTCCatching up in my backlog of podcasts from vacation but my nana came to me in my dream to warn me to go to the hospital the next day or I would bleed out and die. I remember in my dream saying I was cold and to call 911 I was dying. The next evening I started bleeding 10 days postpartum. I told my husband I was fine and just going to lay down thinking it would subside that's when I realized I was freezing under blankets with multiple sweaters on in at the end of May. That's when it came full circle and knew I had to go to the hospital. Long story short I lost over half my blood mass and was just shy of a full hysterectomy at age 27 and only about 2 hours away from death. Thanks Nana for my life.

2023-12-27 16:47:12 +0000 UTCi’ve had dreams like that too. i’ll visit a place (for example a theme park was one) and i’ll meet some people in that dream. then like 3 months later i’ll revisit that same place in my dream and talk to the people i met last time like “hey how have you been, it’s been a while” it’s pretty crazy bc they feel so real and are normal experiences, not crazy dream stuff.

2023-12-24 15:41:01 +0000 UTCi’ve had some crazy dreams, one were i found out i was pregnant, experienced birth, had a daughter, and watched her grow. i woke up after her first birthday and i woke up looking for her. i grieved her. apparently a lot of women have these “baby dreams” but i was so sad for weeks. i still think about her. but i’ve also had visitations dreams, one of them was with my ex-boyfriend and he said “this is the world where i’m still alive” which EFFED ME UP.

2023-12-19 00:00:42 +0000 UTC(Edit- apology in advance if this story was actually one Morgan already covered, I listen to so many different Reddit podcasts now so I can’t always remember who tells what stories 😅) Sounds very similar to another story I just heard about a girl who used to have extremely vivid dreams and one night went to sleep and started dreaming but couldn’t wake up and so she just kept living her life in her dream and dreamed about having a son after a 1 night stand, raising him as OP also got older, doing all the mom things and having detailed interactions and conversations every single “day”, the son eventually falling in love and marrying a girl, OP then had grandkids and was lived well into her 80s as a grandmother before she finally woke back up as a university student in her dorm room - it had all happened in just one night but it definitely messed with her mentally (if the story was true, it’s not anyone that I know personally)

2023-12-18 21:24:35 +0000 UTCI totally apologize to Siri as well as say Please and Thank You 😂 not really out of AI fear but rather more out of a crazy politeness thing that I would want my kids to model too (like it doesn’t matter what or who it is you’re speaking to, you should always still be polite - plus being mean just puts that back on yourself, it doesn’t impact Siri at all but rather makes you feel more negative overall)

2023-12-18 21:21:18 +0000 UTCHaven’t listened to story yet, was just gonna come in real quick with a comment about time travel. I think it was Neil DeGrasse Tyson or some scientist like that who I heard discussing it. Basically with how time travel would work, they wouldn’t be able to go backyards in time past the point that the time travel was actually invented. There was definitely a full wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey explanation for it, but I think it was basically just that the machine wouldn’t be capable of going into a point in time prior to its own existence. So like just because no one has traveled back here yet doesn’t necessarily mean it could never exist in the future.

A few years later a new high school was built that looked exactly like the one in my dream. My Mom actually ended up working there and one day I went into the stairwell and looked out the big window... it looked exactly the same as my dream with the parking lot in front and the field to the right. Always spooked me a bit.
