Patreon Fee Changes

Many of you have already heard about the recent changes Patreon has made to the way supporters are going to be charged. If you're not aware of what I'm talking about, Engadget sums up the whole issue pretty quickly.
I wanted to let you all know that I am very much opposed to these changes. It's shameful that Patreon is now squeezing more out of an already generous community.
If these changes make it harder for you to support the creators that you do, or if you disagree with Patreon out of principle, I understand if you choose to leave the service.
I am so thankful that you have supported me and other artists. I plan on making False Knees for a long time and I promise that it will always be free for all to enjoy!

"Weβre not going to rollout the changes to our payments system that we announced last week." okay, so that was a long time ago. I haven't got any email saying this, even though they did announce the change that way. Real congrats on being stupid, Patreon. Also when I tried to increase my support back, I couldn't :/

2017-12-15 19:27:19 +0000 UTCThank you for this post. That's exactly what I expected when I got the email from Patreon. What a stupid change, and claiming it's for the creators? Yeah, right. Sure, you're getting 95% every time, only this time you're getting the 95% out of like, half of what you used to get 80% from. I will unfortunately also lower the amount of my pledge.

I already know of a few, but I would need to research them a lot more before thinking of switching. I have a paypal tip jar accessible through the 'About' page on my websiteβor just reading my comics and sharing them with your friends is fantastic too!
