Had the husband played ball and participated in mediation, they could have opted to keep the details private. For divorce records to be kept private, a motion to seal has to be filed and there has to be a very good reason for a judge to do so (for example if a DV victim requests it or for privacy of a minor child). He is the one that made the decisions to move all proceedings into the public eye. It sounds like the mom knows that her daughter is hurting—her best play is to let her daughter know she’s not asking her to choose sides and that she loves her no matter what and do her very best to ignore the things her daughter is saying. I know that’s easier said than done—teens definitely know where to hit you so it hurts—but it’s also the best way to build a bridge for the daughter to travel when she realizes how selfish her dad is.

I felt very validated with Morgan and Alejandra’s initial take 😂 I know I’m in the minority but I think NAH. She turned down bbq. I don’t understand the mentality of “well I didn’t get what I was hoping for, so now I want your food” it would never cross my mind to ask for your food. Would I be bummed with a shitton of soup? Yeah. But (to me) that would be part of the fun of the app. You might get something awesome, but you might get something disappointing. That said, is there an alarm that goes off if you open the bags before you get home? Couldn’t you have looked inside the bag and then gone back to the Indian place and ordered a couple sides to go at full price? I mean heck, some bread to dip in the soup would’ve been better than just soup.
