March Bonus Story #1 Ft. Jordan

We don’t know the history of this friendship. I wonder if her friend has made little comments about her parenting before and this was the last straw. It definitely could have been handled better by the mom, but her friend was out of place to even say something. The mom’s actions clearly weren’t overly controlling or else she wouldn’t have suggested that they make a version at home (which honestly is a great mother-daughter bonding activity as well as being a healthier alternative). Then the “friend” doubled down by taking it to the friend group and putting OP in the position of having to defend her parenting choices to others. Parenting is a hard job, and the other woman made it that much harder.

I don’t think either of them handled it well.
