I just wanted to comment on the part where you mentioned cutting out your toxic friend who you thought would be your maid of honor. I went through the exact same thing around 4ish years ago and the friends I have now, that I met very soon after, are the best friends I could have ever asked for and it all happened by a chance meeting with a mutual friend at a bar. These are true friends who have been there through everything the last 4 years. My old best friend cut me out because I “didn’t buy her nice enough birthday gifts” when she would give me things from dollar tree. Nothing wrong with dollar tree gifts but don’t expect 50+ dollar presents when you spent less than 5. I feel like this is very common for people in their twenties to find their real friends and drop the fake ones
