A Quick Update
Added 2024-09-04 03:56:55 +0000 UTCHi everyone. I know this "month between issues" is taking a lot longer than normal, and I"m sorry about that. I thought I'd write to all tiers here so that everyone knows what's going on.
The next issue will take place on Errux. (I don't think that's a spoiler). Because of this, I've had to work my ass off making scenes and assets that I have very little experience with and need approval from Ringtail. (She has, thankfully, been very open to my design ideas).
Nevertheless, some of the 3d models and character refs were extremely difficult and took me forever to build. I am almost done with those and I have started working on the comic pages. I have not yet started on the cover, hopefully that won't take too long. And then I really need to get 9 pages done before I start updating them. Nine pages gives me 3 weeks worth of comics ahead of posting. The more I can get done now, the fewer breaks I have to take to "get caught up".
Considering the alien nature of this upcoming comic issue, I will definitely need a decent amount of lead up so I don't get caught with delays and breaks.
So, rest assured that your pledges are not going to waste, they are being used on the comics, and I hope to have something to show for it very soon.
