Thank you so much, tropey! This really was a difficult episode to set up how I wanted it. Lot's of little details and sounds I had to remix and remix to get how they needed to be. And I'm so glad that you enjoyed the action. It was very much supposed to be a little thrill ride of an episode 🥰

2023-09-29 21:32:32 +0000 UTCThe way I got jumpscared on the 3. I'm so glad I put my headphones on after the "last time on earthblood" preview with the gunshots. SOLID. Seri infodumping instructions made me laugh. I love that waterfall effect right before "damn all this to get the water into the city." Good brain feel, that one. Lucian makes me so curious. He's mistrusting and secretive in a way that also makes it hard to trust him, but I like that tension. That scene in the den too, you handled those effects so well. It was a hella cinematic moment, the transfer of focus and energy and motion. I know it's such a short scene but you packed so much into it. You put so much into this episode I'll probably have to listen again to hear it all, like all the details and stuff. I'm glad you made us wait so you could get these effects exactly where you wanted them, I think it always ends up being worth it. I'm hoping for something emotionally painful with the creature.

You definitely are something special! I honestly will probably never not be amazed by the extremely high quality (the highest imo) content you are able to create! ALL BY YOURSELF!!!! like wtf?!?! Everything was so well done as always!!! This ep was very intense!!!! Im starting to really like Kheen but i do kinda also miss Nelo. ELLLIIII ELLLIIIIIII THE FUCKING SCENE “RIDING” THE TUBING!!!??SO FUCKING KEWL!!!!!!! Man you’re incredibly good at your job! Im so excited to see where this series goes!!!! Wondertastic Job Eli🖤

I'm also really glad that the tension and excitement carried through! It's a pretty active episode given its short runtime, and I am glad it was as fun a ride as I'd hoped 🥰💕

2023-09-23 15:45:13 +0000 UTCWhat a rush. I am dazzled by the SFX and ambiance. This episode was unnerving and caused fun eagerness and tension. That first shot at the beginning after the pitter-patter of steps instantly drew a smile on my face, spicy right from the go 😛!! When Marcus interrupted with “three” ahhhh omfg my heart dude, pure anxiety, but I really enjoyed thinking abt him on the prowl for us, hehe, more performances pls as henchmen!! Idk I can’t help but find those roles hilarious, that comment abt the gun got me. I got nervy and my eyes widened when Seri faintly said there was someone else there, that part.. well done, yeah yeah I was scared. 😭 Lucian and his responses make me curious abt his line of work and backstory. It was real cool to imagine this underground setting with your sound design and the water SFX were gorge. You unceasingly inject life into all your characters with varied degrees of intensity, but all sound performances, while delivering a riveting experience, thank youuu, can’t wait for episode 27!!
