Added 2023-08-14 17:43:18 +0000 UTC"What is going on around here...?" Kheen runs his fingers through his hair, pulling open the door and stepping out from the steam room. A clatter of dishes and tea bounces off of him as the bath attendant rounds the corner right into Kheen's chest.
"Silver and Steel... I... I'm so sorry! Please, forgive me. I... here.. let me..." The attendant frantically mops Kheen's chest and legs of the spilt drink. He freezes when Kheen gently grasps his thin wrist with a giant hand.
"It's alright. It was only a mistake. No need to be afraid." The attendant's face softens a bit, from terror to confusion, but he quickly gathers up his mess and scuttles back around the corner into hiding. Kheen raises an eyebrow at you, shrugs and takes a step forward before freezing himself.
"There. At the back." You glance across the open bathhouse towards a dimly lit corner where to figures huddle through a doorway before scurrying into the bowels of the building.
"I think... the two who just went in there were the men in the steam room beside ours. Maybe... we should do a little more... listening, huh?"
"Kheen... is that really safe? We don't know what's going on, or what they have planned. Maybe we should just meet back with the others, and play it safe for now."
"And maybe we'll miss out on our chance to know for sure. What do you think, Kalu? Should we check it out?"
