Long overdue update

Hey guys!

First of, I sincerely hope that in these times you're well and affected as little as possible by the state we now find ourselves in.

I'd like to say that I've not been sick, nor those in my family so we've been very lucky.

But I have been affected.

While I might have thought that moving to a different country, learning the language and the ins and outs of the bureaucracy while at the same time also starting a new job might have been a short and easy transition...

It simply proved to be way harder than we thought, and since some of our plans had to be remade, we don't really have the housing situation set up as well as it could be in terms of for example a working space.

Nor really privacy and some peace.

Already that had put a bit of a damper on how much work I'd be able to churn out, but I kept going, pushing myself to try and spend every chance I had to improve the game and make new content like I've done.

Still, as I watched our support for the project decline and I kept having less engagement with the patreon posts, while at the same time a lot of negativity on other forums. I must say, it started to finally have some effect on me.

I started to feel like why do I even bother with this...

It's sort of hard to keep on grinding, when you start to feel that what you're creating goes unappreciated.

I'm only human, and a lot of shit happening at the same time really took it's toll both in terms of creativity and work drive...

There is some good news though.

Since DD is and will always be such a passion project for both me and Vaasref, my aim will always be to see it through. 

We're putting the finishing touches on the next update which focuses heavily on gameplay improvements and such.

I'll keep you guys updated on it as we near the release.
