Ahhh. That's what I thought, cause I know at least in the OG that wasn't a thing. But it definitely would've been a cool addition, imo at least. That is incredible. I seriously need to read the comics. I'm just doing myself a disservice haha

The Fire Sages are a religious authority in the Fire Nation who have historically been on the avatar's side. The Mother of Faces is from the official comic The Search. It's revealed that Koh is a big mamma's boy and he steals faces to feel closer to her. She is difficult to find, but if you manage to do that she is willing to return stolen faces or give you a new face.
