My issue isn’t only that Anna did what she did. My problem is you minimizing what she did. She didn’t just trick people. She processed counterfeit checks, she created fraudulent documents. I’ve seen too many people lose their life savings, their retirement, all because of scammers like Anna. She served her time, Netflix paid her restitution, I hope she’s changed and grown. Victims of financial crimes rarely come forward because they are ashamed and embarrassed. Minimizing these crimes contributes to that shame. Feel however you want about her, have her on the podcast… but don’t minimize what she did.
