Daily Life with Three Systems: Chapter 21

I let out a low groan, shifting in bed slightly.

Something is... off...

Rias is still on her mission with Valerie, so I'm quite... un-cuddled right now. They seemed to take some sort of guarding job.

My eyes snap open as I feel something wet down... below.

I fling the blankets back to see Koneko down there, my pants slightly pulled down, she licked the tip of my member.

My length quickly raises to full attention, nearly slapping her in the face.

"K-Koneko?!" I whisper. "What are you-"

"Mn... wanted to do this... for weeks..." She mutters under her breath. "It's just... the first time Rias has been gone... at night..."

She tilts her head slightly, fingers gently stroking against my dick. "Want me to... stop?"

My face twitches, conflicted thoughts bouncing throughout my head.

"W-What if Natsuki hears?!" I hiss out quietly.

"Mn. She can join in. I don't... mind..." Koneko admits.

The cat girl has ditched ALL of her clothing from what I can see. Normally she'd sleep in just panties- as she had to compete with Rias who as we all know hates sleeping with clothing.

Her hand rubs up and down my shaft as I look down at her, audibly swallowing.

"But if we do something like this... Rias will want to... and... well... that might summon someone from your past world and I'm probably not strong enough to deal with them."

"She doesn't have to know." The white haired girl deadpans.

"Koneko... when- and I do mean 'when' here as she WILL find out- when she finds out it will really hurt her." I point out.

Koneko's eyes briefly dart up to my face, taking in my features, my length inches from her mouth, a frown tugs at the corner of her lips. "..."

She lets out a long sigh. "Whatever. Fine."

She stops stroking and crawls up beside me, holding me tightly. "You're... right..."

Jeez I'm kind of a fucking coward, aren't I?

"Hey... Koneko?"

"Mhm?" She tilts her head up slightly.

I place a quick kiss on her lips.

There's a beat of silence.

She lunges forwards with a noise akin to a yowl, lips smashing into my own, our heads almost crack against each other as she tightly holds me.

[Split]

My face is flat as I rub my neck, dozens of little purple marks litter my chest, neck, and stomach. There's even a bite mark on my shoulder. I can see Koneko sitting on the bed from here, a smile on her face like the cat got the canary. Tail swishing back and forth.

I conjure a white dress shirt and slip it on like a coat, quickly buttoning it up.

We didn't do... perhaps... what she wanted, but she decided to nibble and bite on me for a few hours. Getting me AS horny as possible only to throw my own words back in my face that 'Rias would be heartbroken'. Smug little cat. I wonder if I can find a place that sells cat nip. Just buy a bag of the stuff, come home, then promptly spike it into her face.

Considering HOW she's likely going to be all morning- judging by how she's giving me a half-lidded sultry smirk while spreading her legs, showing off EVERY bit of her body.

I'm going to get the fuck out of here.

Slight issue.

Natsuki's taking a bath right now.

"Nyaa~ Andy... you're... so big." I can hear the cat girl faintly whisper, a cheshire-cat like grin on her lips.

Yep. Nope.

I open the door, on the far side of the room, the pink haired girl freezes in the tub, eyes wide in horror.

I, without a moment of hesitation, get to the sink, grab some tooth paste and my tooth brush, then turn around. "Sorry. Need to go."

"A-ANDY Y-YOU PERVERT!"

A block of soap hits me in the back of the head.

"Meh. Koneko and Rias sleep nude. I'm kind of indifferent to it." I shrug as I step out and close the door. "Sorry again. But I'm going to take another S-Class and it'd be best to get it over and done with."

"Y-You- You owe me!"

"What? Do you want to see me naked in exchange or something?" I call out through the door over my shoulder.

"W-WHAT?!"

"Bye!" I call out as I quickly rush out the door.

[Split]

I fly through a thick fog, archive screen in front of my face. A blinking dot that I am flying towards being the only indication that I'm even going the right way.

I narrowly twist around a pillar of stone, eyes noting the jagged base.

I'm close.

My eyes widen as I spy a jagged spire of wood, a hum leaves my lips as I slowly float down.

A pulse of magic radiates off me as I try and scan the surroundings.

I get a vague outline of a ship, it rests on jagged rocks having run into one of the pillars surrounding the foggy island.

'hrm... let's see, then. I'm looking for a specific gem called the 'Boscin Ruby'. The largest ruby ever mined in Bosco's Drudgeforth Adamantine mine. Should be about the size of my torso.

It was sold to an alchemist guild in the Valeria Region. The original company tasked with retrieving the stone put out this mission to reclaim it, offering up eight million jewel, and that I could 'claim whatever was still on the ship.'

According to my little radar her... there's a few magical energy sources. None appear to be moving, seeming to be detected as items.

I hold my hands out, conjuring a massive magic circle.

Cloth coils around the ship, lifting it out of the water. A massive squid of cloth rests in the water, holding the boat aloft.

Just having it isn't draining me that much. To summon it, anchor it to the rocks, and lift the boat took about five percent and at the rate it's sapping my magic, it'll take another percent every five minutes or so.

I float down, landing on the soaked ship. I slap a shocking ofuda onto my wing, quickly raising my magical energy up to full as I cancel my takeover.

My body is cloaked in magical power- to ensure I don't fall- as I walk around the boat.

There's not much on the ship's deck itself. Most of the things would be down below.

I slowly walk down.

The floor is soaked, it looks like the bottom foot or so of the lower deck was flooded. Oh... there's even a third deck. Anything down there is probably absolutely ruined but I'll check it all the same.

Soggy books line the floor.

They're utterly ruined. The pages almost completely gone and those that aren't are blotchy inky messes.

I pray those aren't magic books because my heart probably won't be able to handle that.

Or... Or!

I could collect all this shit and figure out arc of time and-

No...

That won't be happening.

Sigh.

"Rest in piece, books. Gone too soon, truly."

I continue to walk around.

Ruined cloths. Empty bags that are a deep bloody red, possibly dyes or spices. Both utterly ruined by the water.

Most of the crates are empty, full of rot. Probably food of some sort.

The humidity has also ruined most things sat atop those crates.

I found some jewelry, but it's quite tarnished at the moment, I'll see if Virgo can't take a look at it. As a maid she almost certainly has methods to polish things.

"hmmm?" I blink twice, opening another crate. "Oh... Oh wow... that's a lot of silver."

It appears to be a crate full of silver dishware and silverware. YOINK!

That's actually something of worth! It's a shame that my dining room already came pre-packaged with a bunch, but I won't say no to more, I guess.

The lower level of the ship still has some water in it. Large gouges have been carved into the wood from where it ran aground.

On a rack I can see about a dozen swords, from what I can see they radiate magic, the edges dulled and rusted. I wonder if Virgo can deal with rust?

Regardless, I'll take them. It looks to be mainly cosmetic damage. They're still producing magic, after all.

Now, these aren't exactly 'top of the line' swords. They're just... basic.

Durability and sharpness enhancements, primarily.

"Haaah..." I sigh, rubbing my head.

To be honest... I kind of expected like... 'pirate treasure'. 'incredible value lost to the deep'. But... it seems like the only objects on this ship worth my time would be the gem I'm supposed to be reclaiming.

That's... sad...

There might be stuff in the water. I'll check when I get back on deck. Maybe do some 'tin-make sieve hands' or something and have them go jump in the ocean.

[Split]

"Well. That job was a bust." I grumble as I toss open the door of our home. I probably could have made more just selling the gem than I did completing the mission.

Ah well, it made Fairy Tail look quite good and I'm not exactly strapped for cash.

"I'm home!" I call out, spying Rias and Koneko sat at the table glaring at each other. Natsuki has a scarlet blush on her face.

"..."

"..."

I wordlessly turn around and take a step outsi-

"Andy." Rias begins, voice causing a chill to run up my spine.

"Yeeees?" I cautiously mutter.

"Did you sleep with Koneko?" the redhead demands.

"Uhhhhhh.... I kind of... always sleep with you two?" I point out.

"You know what I flipping meant!" she slams her hands down on the table.

"Oooooh. Sex? No. We didn't." I shake my head, watching as Rias raises an eyebrow.

"But she did bite, scratch and give me a bunch of hickies. Which really sucked as the sea practically poured a bunch of salt into those." I continue.

Rias' head snaps over to look at the small girl who looks proud, tail lashing back and forth.

"You little brat!" Rias growls at the white haired girl. I take the opportunity to slip up the stairs.

[Split]

It doesn't take long for Rias to stomp up the stairs.

She enters the study, looks around, spying Seilah sat on one side of the room and me sat on the other, both of us quietly reading.

She walks over, taking a seat beside me, crossing her arms under her chest.

I turn another page.

"..."

Hmph.  Rias turns away, her chest jiggling slightly

I turn another page.

"..."

"..."

The silence continues as I can see her eyes slowly flick back towards me.

Ahem

She coughs.

"Yes, Rias?" I ask as I turn another page.

Hmph.  Rias turns away again.

I look up from the book, giving her a half-lidded stare.

I place a small strip of cloth in the book, then close it with a thud.

I pick Rias up in a bridal carry, open the window behind me, and float outside, landing on the roof of my home, making sure the window shuts so I don't disturb Seliah.

"So... are we going to talk about this or are we just going to sit out here all night?" I ask, sitting her down as I take a place beside her.

"I don't like what you did with Koneko..."

"Are we really doing the whole jealous girl in love troupe? Nothing happened. Really." I sigh. "Look, I can understand if we had sex, really, I get it, and Koneko WOULD have likely continued to that, however. I knew it would hurt you, so I put a stop to it. For you."

Her face slowly turns more and more red.

"Although... if you and Koneko are going to keep fighting like this... hm... perhaps I should ask Natsuki if she'd like to be my first?"

"N-NO!" Rias gasps. "I-I just-"

"Why can't we-" she sputters.

"Because you'll likely have someone teleport over from your old world if we have sex." I deadpan. "And I doubt I'm strong enough to fight and kill them... although... I think we do have the tools to solve that. I'd just need to learn Light Ecriture and some other sealing magics. Maybe have Seilah use her Macro curse."

"T-Then can we?!"

A long breath leaves my lips. "Whatever, sure. As soon as I learn Light Ecriture. Maybe some weakening magics."

"Yes!" The girl cheers as I rise to my feet.

"Anyways, I'm going back inside, I've actually got something I need Virgo to take care of-"

Ding-Dong

"You rang?" The maid questions, appearing beside me with a flash.

I summon her key.

"Close. Open."

She disappears, then reappears, this time using MY magic instead of her own.

The pink haired woman pouts slightly.

"The thing I need you to do isn't that important, so please use my magic if needed." I sigh. "So, on my mission I grabbed some magic swords, silverware and jewelry, the issue is that they're tarnished and rusted. Do you know any magic to fix that?"

"Oh! Of course! Polishing tarnished jewelry is a skill ANY skilled maid should have! And I know methods to get rid of rust."

"Alright, just do them at your own pace. I don't really need them now. When you finish the silverware, just add it to the ones in the dining room and when you finish the jewelry sit it out and let the others have their pick from it. If you find one you like you can have it as well. I don't really NEED money to be completely and totally honest. With my past six jobs I've made about sixty million Jewel."

"Yes master!" The spirit smiles brightly. "And what should I do with the swords?"

"Uh... I don't know, I'll probably get a rack or something for them."

"Alright! I will do those last!"

"Thank you Virgo." I sigh, running a hand through my hair.

"I'm happy to help!" She beams then after taking the boxes of stuff I offered her, disappears with a flash of light.

"..."

"Now... what was I doing again?" I mutter, standing on the roof of my house, scratching my chin.

"Researching magic so you can have sex with me." Rias deadpans.

"ooooh right, right." I nod slowly.

[Split]

And thus began my mission of reading every single book we had. Or at the very least the ones that MIGHT help us in our little quest.

Pressure magic is... kind of interesting, you basically just shoot invisible 'waves' of pressure. Sort of like punches. Like imaging those anime scenes where someone punches the air so hard that it creates a little bullet of air to hit their opponents. Light Ecriture had some surprising overlap with Archive magic, and exploding crystal magic is...

Exploding crystal magic. Now for the final book I have that's slightly more 'esotetic' before I start looking through the 'human magic' books Rias brought with her.

That's like... an entirely new system of magic so I'm a little hesitant to start on it.

As for what I'm reading at super sonic speeds-

Hold on...

Stockpile magic is... kind of good.

I sit at the window, book in lap as it rapidly flickers through the pages.

After a long moment the book slams shut, I take off the gale-force reading glasses and rub my temple, a low wheezing breath leaving my lips.

Five hundred times is always so overwhelming.

But the TIME.

So much time saved. I managed to read all four of those books in record time. Barely an afternoon.

Anyways, Stockpile magic is intriguing.

It's ALL about storing magical power for later use.

of course, there's limits to how much magical energy you can store. You can't just infinitely stockpile magic. The magic itself has it start out quite low, borderline unhelpful, even, telling you to stockpile no more than one percent of your overall magic.

Of course, with time you can stockpile more and more.

In fact, stockpile magic almost seems to touch upon...

Second origin...

Huh.

Could this be a method to unlock second origin without Arc of Time?

No...

But reasonably it could be a starting point to try and figure it out.

A less painful method of second origin unlocking maybe?

I mean, that'd make sense as you aren't doing it all at once in an afternoon but slowly over the course of months or years.

Anyways, reasonably the only thing that could possibly help in combatting randomly summoning devils of various strength would be Light Ecriture.

Dark Ecriture would also be helpful but Light Ecriture actually has some mild holy-ness to it. It's by nature light making it quite effective on devils like us.

It's versatile. I could see it becoming a favorite.

Like, wow it seems easy to use.

I just need to learn a new language.

And like, sure, that SOUNDS hard. But like, beyond that the magic isn't all that difficult.

You write 'cut' and whatever you write that on will be cut. You write 'wall' and it will act as a wall.

There's probably some deeper complexity that I'm missing, but from a first glance after reading the book on it, it's a really... simple... magic.

Ah well. Time to start a new page in my documents.

Ah wait.

Let me just add a thought I have onto my 'Archive Magic' notes.

Magic 7: Archive:
"Internet Magic. You know when I said that Divination was complex? Hah hah hah. This magic doesn't even have SPELLS. It has PROGRAMS! As such, I will proceed to call everything else under this magic 'Programs' and any edits I make 'Patch Notes' hehe I'm so funny."

Program 1: 'General Computer Nonsense':
"This spell is the first I made, it does basically everything a computer can. Calculator, Emails, Chat Groups, clock, and note-taking. How Ironic, I'm making notes about the thing I'm using to make notes.

Patch notes 1: Added text bolding and font size manipulation to the 'Notes' aspect of this spell.

Patch notes 2: Added 'Save' and 'Load' feature for spell modification. Added several 'save-states' and archived previous iterations of my spells. Dear god why did this take me so long to do?"

Program 2: Composite Firewall:
"By increasing the tangibility of the archive windows I have created a simple see-through shield. The durability isn't that great YET. Unlike most spells which improve over time, Archive magic seems to rely almost entirely on the code. While more magic would probably enhance the result, that's more of a shortcut than anything else. I can safely say with this magic 'Skill Issue'. The current spell's durability seems to be shared across the entire surface area of the magic, so it may actually be better to create shields out of numerous little panels.

Patch Notes 1: I messed around with the Enchanting methods of cloth and added them to the surface of the archive window. The durability enchantments ACTUALLY seemed to work on the archive screen. Albeit with lessened results. When using the 'Enhanced' firewall like this the cost of the spell drastically increases to about 400-500% the original while the increase in durability is perhaps only a 100%-150% improvement. Realistically it would be better and more energy efficient to just repeatedly layer archive windows.

Patch Notes 2: I changed the spell so it's a lot thinner now, thankfully I managed to do this with only a mild 10%-15% decrease in durability, but that is counteracted by the 30% decrease in the spell's overall cost. In addition I have made the spell create additional layers of barrier when I insert too much magical energy. It may take 6 layers to stop a full-power punch from Koneko, but overall, I used around half the magical energy the 'Cloth Enchanted' firewall required for the same feat. I have changed the name of this 'Program' to 'Composite Firewall'."

I type in the next little update.

Patch Notes 3: Look into combining this with Light Ecriture. Edit this patchnote later with findings.

I've also got sections for my map 'program' and my 'divining program'.

Program 3: Map:
I have managed to create a spell that functions as a map you might see in a video game. The only issue is that I need to personally fill it in through traveling within roughly 2500 feet of the location I want to show up on the map. This spell needs to be active in the background to log these changes.

Patch Notes 1: I have made it so I can add markers to this spell and have added Latitude and Longitude numbers. Useful for divination.

Patch Notes 2: Added unique markers to differentiate between points of interest.

Patch Notes 3: Cross compatibility with Program 4 'Divining Dice'. Added a marker tab for Program 4 that allows for Divining markers to be cleared with a push of a button as tapping each and every one then selecting 'delete' is REALLY tedious considering how much I'll likely use this.

Program 4: Divining Dice:
My solution to my divination problem. If one set of dice won't do it, what about 500? It may tank my magical energy every time I use it, but it has been giving me vaguely accurate answers. I've added a slider that lets me alter the 'material' of the dice to be whatever I need and spent FAR too long making sure the dice rolls are as random as divination requires. I've dirrectly linked this program with the 'Map' spell. It's useless otherwise.

I suppose I should start with a basic entry for 'Light Ecriture'. That'll be my next magical goal.

"Magic 8: Light Ecriture:
A simple magic on the surface but I have no doubt it has no end in hidden complexity. I won't bother necessarily creating 'spells' for this magic, as it, much like any runic, script, writing, and language based magics, the spells can be literally anything I want in a certain moment. Writing 'Hot' on something might bring it to scalding temperatures, while 'cut' would lacerate the flesh of a person it is written upon.
I may, in the future, add in 'rules' to this magic as I discover them, but this will be more how certain subsections of spells function and less 'this is spell 001: Defenestration' although that would be funny to see if that works.

My rudimentary plan for learning this magic would be to first understand the runic alphabet. At which point, after I am quite good at stringing together simple words, I could see about using more complex ones. Then perhaps I could delve into sentences and laying pre-prepared traps.

Potential Avenues of progression beyond that? See if it's possible to use Light Ecriture on Ofuda to empower the effects of the seals without ruining the magic held within the paper itself. Learn Dark Ecriture and Solid Script to form a better baseline to 'Script' magic.

Initial theories for the magic:
I know more of the inner workings of Dark Ecriture than Light Ecriture. However, judging by their names, I would hazard a guess that Dark Ecriture is unholy or 'dark' in nature much like how 'Light Ecriture is fundamentally 'Holy'. As a result, perhaps it's only Dark Ecriture that is able to use words like 'Pain', 'Misery', 'Fear', and 'Death'. As these two magics seem to be two sides of the same coin, could it be possible that Light Ecriture could be more suited for beneficial words such as 'Bravery', 'Ease[', 'Contentment', and... perhaps even 'Revival'?"

'Wait wait, Nixing the last bit, I have no desire to be cursed by hypocritical death gods.' My fingers quickly dance across the keyboard, I let out a low hum as I quickly make an edit and continue.

"and... perhaps even words like 'Healing'?

The differences between Light and Dark Ecriture can only truly be experienced by learning both, and while I, as a devil, more than likely have a much higher affinity for DARK Ecriture, I have heard tales that Lucifer, the creator of the devils from Rias' world used both light and dark, perhaps I can find that balance with Ecriture magic? Perhaps building off the 'Holy' and 'Unholy' aspects in that they should be 'super effective' against certain species, I could perhaps add in Devil Slayer magic, and from there the other 'Slayer' magics. But that is a project for the future."

"Fuaaaah." I sigh, closing the archive window and rising to my feet. I requip the book in my lap, the tome on stockpile magic, back into my personal pocket dimension and walk over to the nearby bookcase, quickly drumming my fingers across the top of the leatherbound book copies. 'lets see heeeere... ah! Here it is, Light Ecriture. Let's do a little refresher before I attempt to cast any spells.

As always this is just really awesome and I can't wait for more

Ranma_Leopard

Honestly, light magic sounds so useful anyways. Flashbanging your enemies to blind them aside, the amount of Dark enemies in the Fairy Tail universe certainly isn't zero....wait, would demons from the book of Zeref count as being weak to light/holy magic like typical demons or no?

D

It's also to cut off a potentially serious threat, because even if it wasn't our MC, I highly doubt Rias would remain a virgin for the rest of her extremely long Devil life. So if they dont have some countermeasures in place SuperDevils like Grayfia or the 4 Maous could get a foothold in Earthland, drag Rias and her peerage back, and do who knows what to our MC for summoning her away in the first place.....

So glad to see another chapter of this fic. I love this one πŸ‘

I feel the need to point out that the mc is a magic nerd so he was probably going to learn light magic anyway and he’s just killing two birds with one stone he learns a new magic and he gets to sleep with a beautiful woman
