Saudi Arabia 'Comedy' (Up-Late)

I went to Saudi Arabia to play a very niche sport a couple of years ago and it was a great time. We were in Riyadh. The girls traveling with us were fine too but didn't have access to the same hotel amenities the guys did. I think in the last two years, it's opened up somewhat and is even more tourist friendly. While we were there we went to a pretty awesome theme park, basically knock off Disneyland with built with Saudi money and also the "edge of the world" which was a grand canyon esque trip into the desert to watch the sunset. Was spectacular. Highly recommend.

My god, the tale of Pakistan remains to be the best selling point of this up late pod. So funny... On the subject of the whole comedy show over in Saudi Arabia. I think it's all whatever as long as it pushes more progress over there. I think what alot of people had problems with Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle due to their past stance on freedom of speech and instances of them talking shit on other artists performing in Arabic nations. It's more of their blatant hypocrisy people had problems with. Especially Dave Chappelle made three Netflix specials all about anti woke, freedom of speech being attacked and talked mad shit about the trans community because he felt like his artistic expression was restricted by liberals, but then went to Saudis of all places and perform with all the censorships in place. It's honestly whatever, just don't want to hear those two making anymore stupid ass political points if they can't be consistent despite being so well off in the first place.

My High School maths teacher was a former RAF engineer who was stationed in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He said and I quote “boring as bat shit”. He spent Christmas in Saudi and him and his fellow soldiers were not allowed to celebrate or leave the army barracks. They were forced to stay inside all day.
