This should really be a public video, Jordan, this some scary shit

Hey guys here's a topic idea: Why is the government choosing to give farmers drought relief money only now, and why did it suddenly start appearing in the headlines a few weeks ago? Which farms get the money - many farms in Australia are owned by giant companies. Drought has been an ongoing issue for years now. My theory as to why there has been such a swell of headlines and a push towards public charity is that the Woolworths and Coles are leveraging their influence over the channels they advertise on to get it in the headlines because their suppliers are demanding to get paid more for their products because they've been getting ripped off for years and are only now realising that thanks to global warming drought is going to be an ongoing concern for them and they're going to need a bit more cash to deal with it. And so rather than Coles/Woolies just paying more and either cutting into their bottom line or passing the cost on to consumers, they're drumming up a crisis mentality in the news that is forcing the government to effectively bail out farmers as well as getting people to donate to farmers, who let's not forget, are business owners. Obviously this is just my theory, but it would be interesting to see what you guys think of it. Alternatively: How many socks do you think you can wear on your foot and still be able to put your shoe on?
