You’re right about Ned being Jon’s father - just because it wasn’t biological NED STARK raised him. He instilled his values. His blood does still run in Jon’s veins. I’d say it isn’t pride that drives Jon Snow as what Dany said. It’s honor and he isn’t wrong about the north and southern rulers. I love them two truly. But Jon is literally always on the side of good. “If you use them to melt castles and burn cities, You’re no different, you’re just more of the same” LOVE THAT.

I think it was incredibly stupid to burn it all :/ My heart hurt because I still STILL wanted Jamie to redeem. Watching Tyrion was heartbreaking in the entire thing. I also did feel for Jamie as he probably had severe ptsd from watching soldiers burn from the Mad King, lovely writing. Weirdly, I felt for every soldier too, as war is again - about them following orders and dying due to them. She definitely should have taken the gold but they had already gotten it 😑 this was definitely overdue but for sure not pretty

2025-05-21 13:56:36 +0000 UTCIt's kinda weird seeing so many reunions all at once. I wish they had paced them out more. My favorite is definitely Jon and Sansa's. There's just something so beautiful about the first, it can't be replicated. The fact that they weren't really close almost makes it better. Jon was probably hesitant because Sansa was so much like her mother and he couldn't tell if she would hate him too. Having been through so much by herself though.... I almost wonder. If Cat had lived through all of this somehow and she was the first to reunite with Jon, do you think she would've had a similar reaction? Like if she thought she had lost all her children and finally accepts Jon as her own? Weird timeline that would be but I would have loved for Jon to get that love. I guess that's why Sansa's hug and acceptance is so emotional to watch, in a way it's almost like he's finally being accepted as a Stark. "You died in that cave" in a way the tree eyed raven took over Brans mind. The Brand that we knew is basically dead which I think is incredibly tragic. His childhood was stolen from him when he fell and he's never been able to be a kid again. Arya and Sansa too but I feel like Sansa was beyond that point and Arya at least got to have the adventures she always wanted. Bran was left to take care of Winterfell and Rickon and had way too much responsibility placed on his shoulders for a kid. It's weird being on both sides of the fight. I don't want Jaime or Bronn to die but I also don't want Drogon to get hurt. Not loving Danys storyline recently but this was beautiful to watch. To a certain point I mean. The burning of the gold? Solid! Seeing innocent people burning alive in their METAL armor??? Not so much 😖😖
