I teared so much in this ep im so useless lol. Like an artpiece in a museum, I think part of the storytelling is meant for us to come up with our own dialogues for what we feel from the scenes. I see "time heals"; "I'm done beating myself up, and is learning to take care of myself again"; "I'm finally myself again, I feel like I'm ready to protect you. I miss you so damn much". :p

She preyed on him because he obviously going through a lot and his mind wasn’t right so he just let it happen but now he’s waking tf up and realizing how weird and nasty she is. But yes they definitely need communication 😭 like their communication sucks frl. Happy they happy but girl TALK. But maybe next ep im hoping

Especially with what she said to Jihyun about like “we’re back together if *I* say we are.” His consent or even involvement were unnecessary to her. Related, but separately, I feel like so often responses to trauma ARE illogical. The logic might make sense to you (to the extent that you’re even making conscious decisions and not just, as you said, existing), but that’s because your brain is quite literally operating in an altered state. (Spoken from personal experience lolsob). And I feel like they did a really good job of both showing that in action and showing how it feels to be both the person experiencing it AND the people around you who are affected by your actions.

You know how he was down on himself feeling guilty and putting himself down, maybe he thought for a bit that he deserved to be with someone who's an asshole so gave her another chance? I dunno. You know how sometimes folk get into such a negative headspace that they then almost self sabotage? Maybe? I deffo have been following along this series with you and enjoyed your reaction. I'm sorry to see that the interest hasn't been as much as you'd initially expected, but I appreciate you continuing it for us who followed :)

2025-03-05 20:07:39 +0000 UTCI personally love this episode but I do agree with you that it need proper apology before the kiss since they kinda lack the communication (they're trying to show that they understand each other without actually talking but like man you don't haha) also this is one of my fav bl dramas because it's slow but fast at the same time, it's showing a lot about mental health how it can ruin a relationship with people you care about and stuff like that and OMG soundtracks EATING!!! I literally freezed when I heard Conan haha I can't wait for your Alice in Borderland reaction (curious about if you're watching both seasons or just one ?) AND also I hope a next bl would be a Thai bl so you can see another "version" of bl

2025-03-05 16:00:07 +0000 UTCAlso i know what you mean abt the convos ;;; sadly, i think you'll realise once you see more BLs... they use to be really short. like, really short. This one in particular is longer than the average KBL, which most of us saw as a win. Miscommunication will always be a big part of these, and most of them get resolved only on the last ep and they never show us everything... so yeah, interpreting becomes a really big part of the fandom that is watching

2025-03-05 15:26:10 +0000 UTC28:54 i dont think he got back with her per se, i always interpreted this as she saw an opportunity when he was a shell of himself and she inserted her presence back in his life. i dont think (mainly bc they never showed that) that they were like "ok we are dating again". Jae-won was simply breathing, not living, and he probably didnt even had any dialogue about it, she kissed him in the stairs on the other ep and he just ignored his reality and here we are now
