No, but seriously, you need to really really digest these back stories they're dropping: from Ymir's, that lil speech Sannes had while being tortured, the Reiss's and so on. Remember in S1EP5 when Eren was visiting a memory of Armin showing up with a book about the outside world (which was illegal)? He told Eren that his parents were planning on sneaking outside the walls to discover the world. Some speculate that the couple in the balloon Sannes executed were Armin's parents...

That whole sequence was not only solo key animated but also storyboarded by the series’ lead action animator, Arifumi Imai. IIRC it took him about a month to complete the storyboard and another to animate it.

I'm sure anyone who joined the SC didn't join to kill other humans, so it makes sense there was a lot of regret and hesitation in the aftermath. The reflection and character building moment was really nice. Dimo Reeves actually had more screentime in the manga than here, so when it finally got to the part where Kenny killed him for siding with Levi and the SC, it was even more sad imo.

2025-02-07 15:37:04 +0000 UTCOkay so Im not sure if its confirmed but I believe the people mention were The Teacher that was Smart = Erwin's Dad The Couple Trying to Fly = Mikasa's Parents The Wh0r3 from the sticks = Levi's Mom or Historia's Mom Its not confirmed but they were mysterious deaths and fit why they would be killed and was somehow after the truth.
