Honestly it confuses me to do it this way because on crunchy roll it's not labeled "2x9" it's labeled "2x34" so it confuses me when it comes to organizing what episode i'm on. since I've gotten a few comments about it I'll just label them like this. It will be confusing on my end to know where i'm out but if better for you guys then I'll just do it

From now on you NEED to LOCK IN on these lil stories they're dropping, as in not miss a milisecond, but you're already so good at analysing stuff!!!!! I, personally, don't have any preference on the way the episodes are labelled, but if it makes things easier for you maybe you could label them both ways, like: AOT - EP. XYZ (S2-XY); or do one way on the title and the other way in the description, just an idea... whatever works for you is fine for me.

2025-01-30 23:30:00 +0000 UTCMy favorite moment of Ymir's episode was definitely when Ymir woke up as human again. Everything from the animation to the music to Ymir's expression of utter joy and awe at her second chance was just so beautifully done (she was literally "reborn that night")! Her backstory as a whole was fantastic and helped add a layer of depth and complexity to her character. It makes sense now why she was so harsh on people like Sasha and Historia when it came to being fake and living a lie. If anyone knew better about such a thing, it's Ymir. She literally lived it and was punished severely for it. Also, just so you know, Ymir's backstory wasn't supposed to be revealed until much much later in the manga, but I think showing it early here for the anime was a fantastic choice.

As soon as he said he had to remain calm, I knew he wouldn't be able to do it, which was understandable honestly. Tensions were running high at this point, and old wounds reopened full force. Him verbally clashing against Reiner and Bertholdt was a given, and it was beautifully done. I felt that tension building and building until it finally snapped. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Oh Reiner... As seen, he basically has a soldier and warrior personality. I find it sad really. All that guilt and trauma of what he did broke him. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but he went through with it anyways. And Bertholdt may not talk as much, but he looks so jaded at this point. Even when Eren was screaming at them and calling them mass murderers, he looked like he was just taking it because he knew what Eren was saying was true. He may not be broken to the extent like Reiner is, but I think all of this is still affecting him in some way even if he doesn't outright show it.
