Instead of fighting all of the accusations thrown his way from everyone, he decided to just fit into the mold that they all placed for him.

2025-01-04 15:12:58 +0000 UTCI haven't seen IWTV (yet) but a friend of mine is obsessed with that show and I know what the cast looks like (or at least the two main characters and a few side characters) and I got excited seeing him when he first appeared even tho I haven't even watched IWTV yet lol. I guess it's bc my friend would keep talking to me about the show and how he's also part of this (bc she's also a fan of game of thrones) that I was just looking forward to it. 🤣

Littlefinger is by far one of the biggest villains of the series. He’s such a conniving worm. His goal is to get power and take it however he can. Sansa being married to Tyrion isn’t fair, but by far the best thing that can happen to her. At least we know he’s not a monster. I love your foresight though, especially with the Frey’s. This seasons gonna wreck you before it’s over… you wont be okay (in so many ways). But again, please take care of yourself!!!

I felt the exact same as well when I first watched that scene between Jamie and Brienne. And honestly, when Jamie is with Brienne, you do see a different side to him compared to Cersei. Being with Cersei imo brings out the worst in him. And then vise versa with Brienne.

To expand on why I think Brienne has had such an effect on Jaime; considering the story he told here (and the speech he gave to Catelyn about conflicting oaths one takes in life) I think Brienne represents the purity and unshakeable honor he wishes he had. He sees her as the knight he never got to be. And he truly respects her skill and resolve and she makes him want to be better, but yk he's still Jaime Lannister, he's got a long way to go. But Jon and Ygritte had one of my favorite scenes ever, that cave scene was beautiful! For anyone familiar with the masterpiece that is AMC's Interview with the Vampire series, it's driving me crazy seeing Jacob Anderson introduced here as Grey Worm and all these reactors don't know him from that, on god I won't rest until everyone on earth has seen that show.

There is so much crud going around right now. I'm so happy you're enjoying this season, though 'enjoy' seems strange to say given the context, but seriously... each of these characters have such history and merit to them, even the ones we despise. It's an honest look at what makes good men 'bad' and bad men 'good'.

Half the fun is watching you explode with this show and that will be a whole lot better if you are ok. We can wait, no worries. Secondly, Jaime gets to you. He gets to everyone. In some ways he is one of the most annoying characters because you feel like you are not suppose to like him. Then he does something that makes you like him. He is absolutely flawed and horrible when he needs to but as you learned today he does have a code and honour if you let him. Thirdly, as always, poor Sansa. Nothing really seems to work out does it? Great reaction, but honestly, take your time and make sure you are good before the next one!

I can't stand him This show is so fucked up cause it's got me saying "you know what, Sansa is like 14 but it could be so much worse than Tyrion"

Yeah, James is basically one of the most misunderstood Characters on the Show. Yes, he's flawed, yes, he's able to do shit, but on the other hand he is actually a good guy, trying to do what's right... Cersei kinda corrupts him, I feel like.. Brienne is Cersei's total opposite, and the most truly honorable person he knows.
