2024-11-26 18:59:44 +0000 UTCOn another note….Theon and Joffrey are different, but they’re a lot of alike. They are both fighting for people’s respect but are both going about it MISERABLY. Power unfortunately changes people (as we are dealing with in our life personally at this moment). And the minute someone gets it, they just want more and more. They desperately need adults (the right ones) to step in and help. Joffrey unlike Theon wouldn’t listen to anyone’s advice (sadly). All you can hope is that they learn to take advice from the right people or they are left to their own devices and that can go down dark and scary places to which, there are some thing’s you just can’t come back from.

2024-11-26 07:38:15 +0000 UTCYou giggling at all of Jaime's snarky lines is so real...say what you want about the man, he stay ready to say something crazy lol Also, Idk if anyone else told you already but the actors for Jon and Ygritte (Kit Harington and Rose Leslie) actually met through this show and have since got married and have 2 kids now, so that chemistry feels even more natural on rewatch!

"Sex Eyes" had me dead lmao, after the raunchiness of the first season (some hot, some not), seeing some genuine 'spark' this episode has been a nice change of pace lol. I hope you're also doing well! I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I am proud that you're taking your own time in things, changing things up how you want and just being yourself. It must feel daunting, but trust that you're not letting anyone down here. We've all got your back. <3

Don't be afraid to take breaks if you need them, we'll be patiently waiting for you ♥️♥️ ........... Ygritte is SO annoying, I love her. I love how even Jon is having a hard time keeping a straight face. I feel like there's some parallels between Cersei and Sansa and Tywin and Arya that became more clear this episode. In a way they're meeting their end goals and getting advice from them. Arya wants to be a great and cunning warrior while Sansa is playing the game in her own secretive way while maintaining appearances. This episode actually has me feeling for Cersei so bad. Imagine watching this episode without outside context and she's pretty sympathetic. She loves her brother which is drowned upon. She was married off to someone who didn't love her. Had kids and one of them turns out to be a psychopath who is now king and won't listen to you. With context this absolutely does not absolce her of her being a shitty person but it kinda explains why she is the way she is. I think she sees herself a lot in Sansa and has a soft spot for her. I really appreciate her creating a space in time where they both acknowledge Joffrey is a piece of shit and that she doesn't blame Sansa for not loving him. It's kind of beautiful in way, she doesn't have her mom right there to have that talk with her so as a woman Cersei steps up for a little. I wonder if she wishes Sansa was her daughter instead Joffrey. Back to the parallels, I think Tywin wishes Arya was his daughter instead of Cersei. Damn that scene with Tyrion has me feeling bad for her too. This is probably her best episode so far. I'm absolutely in love with this portrayal of Tyrion and Cersei as siblings. The lack of Jaime is getting to her and shes getting desperate enough to seek reassurance from the only other family member who gets her. The way she so casually mentioned her and Jamie's relationship because she knows Tyrion KNOWS and won't use it against her when she's down like this. The way Tyrion still has a soft spot for her and wants to comfort her but doesn't know how because she's never let him. She wants to give in so badly but I think at this point neither of know how to be siblings to each other. I kinda went through this with my sister growing up. There was a lot of resentment on her side and she wasn't the nicest to me but as she got older and saw my struggles she became my biggest supporter and my best friend. We hug so easily now but it was so awkward at the beginning, exactly like this scene. :') It's making me emotional to think about how far we've gotten. I'd like to think in another universe they would've gotten along great Oversharing aside, Jaime is so unserious, I fucking can't with him LMAO

2024-11-25 23:28:31 +0000 UTCThe thing about GoT for me is that I surprised myself with the depths to which I could come to despise a character (or their actions), or on the flip side the things I'd find funny, hopeful or interesting in the midst of everything. Sometimes I had to remind myself to sit up straight and stop hunching from the weight of every atrocity in an episode...and then would get giddy with some unexpected treat or positive surprise that added a new lens to everything that is possible. Again, just glad I'm a little less sensitive this time around and can enjoy some snacks (had garlic pizza for this episode).

I really liked Tywin in those 2 episodes
