No longer Doing Arcane S2

Unfortunately Arcane underprerfomed both on here and on youtube. I thought since it's a new show it would bring some people in and do well, but it did not.
I have to be strict and honest with myself when it comes to what shows I'm doing. I have to look and see what is performing well and what isn't because time and effort (as well as money) was put into the reactions.
I will be watching the show on my own off camera instead.
Sorry guys! we'll continue on with our other shows though as planned so no worries there.

That's what I notice usually. Bummed but ultimately do what's best for you ! Hope I still get to hear your thoughts on the show in another format maybe 🤍

Idk how yt works but I'm pretty sure Arcane is one of the shows that people want to see someone else reaction once they finish watching it by themselves first (at least that's what i do). I'm sad that you won't keep it on patreon/yt but i understand too, please do whatever is the best for you!

2024-11-10 01:35:49 +0000 UTCIt’s kinda hard to explain guys 😅 I can’t really put into words my point of view but yeah it just wasn’t going to work even if over time people were to watch. A good example would be Fall out. I uploaded my fall out reactions close to when the show was airing and months later even after the show is done the videos still didn’t improve. I lost money on that as well cause my editors did all 8 episodes for me. I have to look at it as a business in a way. If a video is not doing well within a couple hours of being uploaded then most likely it won’t just magically perform well. It’s really nothing like personal tho! I have to make those hard decisions sometimes. Hopefully in the future it’s different tho!

2024-11-10 01:34:31 +0000 UTCI don’t think that is the case. I could be wrong tho but when a new series is out I normally want to see how others reacted and see their thoughts. I just think because it’s a western show it under performed for me. The only western show to do really well for me is game of thrones. Idk why…It just did. On YouTube it didn’t really matter because it was doing really bad regardless. My analytics were telling me it was the worst performing video on my channel. That ends up hurting me in the long run so I took it down. On Patreon the video was doing the same exact numbers as my other series that didn’t do well so to me personally it didn’t make sense. When it comes to K-dramas they’re awash going to perform well on here and the channel and that’s because my audience is mainly of people that want to watch Korean content. So to be honest I’m not really worried about squid games. It may not do like insane but I know it will do well on both platforms because k-dramas normally do. Now if it doesn’t do well then I’ll have to make that decision as well but I have to wait and see how the videos are doing.

2024-11-10 01:26:47 +0000 UTCI think it’s definitely something that will continue to grow as the show airs. the episodes just dropped, some people including myself, hadn’t even gotten to watch the episode yet when you uploaded. this is definitely a show with a large following of old and new fans so there will be people looking for reactions as they watch the episodes. It is ultimately your decision, you’ll get to enjoy the show anyway. but i do think it is a bit too quick to tell how well the show will do. Regardless, the season seems so good already, so i would be glad to hear your thoughts as it progresses whether in video reaction or just leaving us a comment👋🏼

You could always write a quick post with your thoughts on an episode if you don't feel like spending resources on a full reaction! I'm sure people are still interested in your thoughts. This is just a suggestion by the way, feel free to ignore it ♥️
