I know Rotten Mango is popular, but it still is interesting to come across comments talking about her, lol. I have seen a lot of videos from her, too. As a 2012/2013 fan, I still remember whenever Seung*i (formerly of Big Bang) sat on EXO's Sehun's lap at MAMA and serenaded him and Sehun was so embarrassed and hiding his face. Damn, that aged really badly. I remember finding that moment so cute (I watched it live for MAMA whenever I watched MAMA awards) because Big Bang came before EXO in terms of debut and it was two of the youngest in their respective groups (maknae), but yeah, now it's just gross. Glad Sehun wasn't actually close to him. Much like EXO's Chanyeol and the other Burning Sun Guy I forgot the name of but he (not Chanyeol) was last spotted hitting on women in France or something once he was released from his sentence. You probably saw that footage from seeing the last video by Rotten Mango about The Burning Sun. BUT YEAH, T.O.P looks like he is having the time of his life. So I wish him the best of luck. T.O.P could be friends with anyone, so I hope he is able to link up with some nice friends.

I'm pretty sure YG has never confirmed his departure from the group, just that he left the label - it was TOP who said he isn't a part of the group anymore. I agree, even from that small little scene it looked like he was having a good time! I'm also not necessarily a diehard VIP, I only found BIG BANG around 2015, which is when they started to go on longer hiatuses and so on (plus I was lowkey going through my intense "holy shit k-dramas are awesome and so is k-pop and wow"-phase so I didn't really fully stan them at any point. Supported them from afar typa thing haha). I've just been very interested in the industry as a whole, and I loved Rotten Mango's video on the Burning Sun scandal.

2024-11-10 04:49:01 +0000 UTCI’ve been waiting to say this : the episode where they all went out, ALL of their deaths were foreshadowed!!! It’s AWESOME writing. GiHun swore on his moms life. Sangwoo was committing suicide. Snake man jumped off a bridge. Saebyok held a knife at someone’s throat. Ali had stolen…. It was all SO wonderfully written. I know it’s unpopular but I fully get both GiHuns and Sangwoos characters. Life can get very dark sometimes and it’s hard not to harden. Thankfully there are people who help you through it or out of it. Others aren’t as lucky. I suspected it was the old man when he took the mask off and I saw the hands.

2024-11-10 04:46:10 +0000 UTCAh, I did know about the issues (fan of Kpop since EXO's debut or around there, lol, so like 2012/2013), but didn't feel like going into it. I just wasn't sure if T.O.P was still in the group or not because media is very confusing on that. I only know G-Dragon and Taeyang and Daesung are in the group. I will say he looks/appears happier and healthier on film from that small scene I saw, so maybe it's better to not be involved in Kpop. I'm acting like this doesn't happen in TV/film circles (which it does, there are at least 2 actors alleged to be in #metoo stuff [off-camera/in legal trouble] that are STILL in Season 2 of Squid Game). Anyway, back to the topic: T.O.P seems like he's in the best area he can be for his mental health (from a non-V.I.P/casual fan perspective) for now, anyway. Thank you. I'm sure other people not aware will be intrigued about him further.

2024-11-09 15:13:30 +0000 UTCOh lord, I'm sorry for the long reply lmao I have been kinda keeping an eye on some stuff going around about BIG BANG, so just to reply to the TOP bit: He left BIG BANG officially in 2022 but also didn't participate in group activities 2017 onwards. A little bit of background if you or anyone reading is interested: he got caught using marijuana recreationally and was sentenced to 10 months in 2016-2017 iirc (which is kinda crazy considering another ex-member, Seungri aka the person involved in the burning sun scandal - I urge you to google it if you haven't already. Seungri's bar essentially was involved in human trafficking which Seungri knew of and had his hands in. He only got 2 years of which he up serving only one year in prison. He is out and about, flying girls out and having a great time... big ew). The media and netizens were kinda insane with TOP's drug case and he ended up attempting in 2017, but survived, and that only made the netizens ridicule him further. After all that, he essentially vowed to never step on stage again and hasn't been in anything BIG BANG related since then. He used to act as well, but even put that on hold and this is his first project in almost a decade. I think he has a vineyard or something he's been focusing on??? Not really sure. But anyways, the general consensus seems to be that he's still involved with some of the members of BIG BANG, but seems to absolutely despise the k-pop industry and it's not likely he'll ever perform on stage again. It's a little sad, considering he started doing music as a literal kid and seemed to love it from what I remember.

I felt so bad everytime you brought up the player 001 in the previous episodes like just you wait caitlin this old man was behind everything 😅. I'm so glad he kept his promise and took care of her brother. Plus leaving him with sang-woos's mom will definitely be the best . I'm still a bit like no don't go back and get on the plane and see your daughter.

2024-11-09 13:38:00 +0000 UTCThe only thing that I had found odd was that when the elderly gentleman -- player #1 -- was supposedly shot after the marble game he was the only person that the camera evaded (quicky pully around the wall to block the view). That struck me, but then I reasoned that maybe in Korean culture it is more traumatic to see violence against the elderly so they wouldn't show that. Good plot twist.

2024-11-09 06:25:41 +0000 UTCAlso this is one of those shows where you kinda know going in that you’re gonna be sad and mad over the ending of the games (the whole premise being that only one person makes it out alive) but you still go through it and hope that MAYBE everyone will be happy at the end 😀😀 So tragic but very well done imo, I’m excited for season 2!

Earlier seasons are less mean, if you need something else to watch in your spare time (off camera). Like Seasons 1-3, I think. Also the first movie.

2024-11-09 03:21:23 +0000 UTCBecause of how the characters went out and stuff, that's why I can't even say it's a favorite show. I got spoiled with "The Glory", to be honest, because that show had like...almost the best ending (in my humble opinion) in terms of how everything came together (minus the ONE character, but I won't explain, you probably know and I'm trying to avoid spoiling for people who have not seen "The Glory"). This just felt...ugh. I watched "The Glory" before watching this, so just like you, Caitlin. Thank you, Caitlin. I'll be here for Season 2 from curiosity. I think there'll only be one episode on December 26th, not several episodes, which sucks. So I'm guessing the season won't "officially" be released until January 2025, if they are going to put it out there like that. Sometimes Netflix (and other streaming services) does this weird thing of releasing multiple new episodes at a time (Comcast/Xfinity did this before with a series I used to watch on Teennick), but they ain't going to do that this time, lol. I guess it's good because it gives you a breather from everything else you are doing, so I shouldn't be too harsh. Thank you again, Caitlin. Side note: T.O.P is a rapper (other than G-Dragon) from Big Bang or formerly of Big Bang (I forgot if he is even still with the group).
