2024-08-09 07:25:21 +0000 UTCalso if you notice choi always through out had some crazy trust issues and seemed insecure and like he had no one by his side. you will kinda see that through out. in reality choi is only a bad person because of his job line but he did get betrayed on the other hand we care more about the daughter who lost their father so it outweighs his story to me but he reacted and didnt want to do what he had to do ofc.

2024-08-07 01:13:25 +0000 UTCjs the story isnt so much to make anyone pick sides your kinda meant to see both sides. bad guy drug dealer is a bad guy because hes a drug lord but ofc his best friend was her dad and he was betrayed and hurt. vise versa cha gio lost his cop but cha also sent him into danger. to me i sympathised with both sides in some way

2024-08-04 05:57:09 +0000 UTCMy knowledge is very limited to certain South Korean media and sayings/myths, so I am happy to see other people discuss stuff I am not 100% aware of. Thank you for explaining. If I had to assume what was going on by that scene alone, I think the 'love at first sight' would be on his end, not hers because she's dealing with a lot right now. Also I commend the writers for not pushing romance in the obvious manner it is usually done. This reminded me of "The Glory" for that difference where the 'could-be-lovers' are not forced on eachother and it is done naturally/organically/with consent. I understand the changing feelings/warming up towards Pildo in that regard as a viewer. He is a green flag character right now after having a difficult beginning portrayal from how he was presented and especially in how he treated/talked to his detective partner (Jiwoo) in the start vs. how he treated/talked to her and kept his distance after she explained things in this episode. It's a wholesome turnaround.

(both spelt 첫λ or "first love" being 첫μ¬λ) a lot of people will confess to someone during this time of the year and they also say if you make a wish during the first snow, it will come true!

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I swear I have heard something similar before in other South Korean media. Might also be why the one EXO song is called "The First Snow"/"First Snow" and is about confessing and not getting a reply back except 'Merry Christmas' and 'hello' like it's not the first snow/nothing changed in the relationship.
