2024-04-26 20:52:57 +0000 UTCCaitlin, I had to deal with people always trying to put hands on me, too, as a joke. Like uh, what is it, the flinch game? Someone pretends like they're going to hit you, but they stop their hand before they do. And you lose because you flinch from them pulling that on you. Others around me also had to deal with that bs. My experience could never compare to Dong-eun's, thankfully. The emotional abuse is about the same, I think, but probably 10x worse whenever it's paired with physical abuse. Teachers not doing anything is like universal, whether because they don't want to or because they can't (or else they'll lose their job). It feels like it is worse now with the news you always come across about teachers and students. Students can get away with beating teachers, not just the students beating up students.
