I just re-watched episode 11 here and realized that the son's father said that he would be with him until the day he died. So with that and the son's mom blaming the son for everything, yeah, the son probably did hang himself. I was of the opinion that his father staged his suicide, but...seeing what the father said and remembering what happened in this episode, I changed my mind. He's a chaebol and I wouldn't put it past him, but context-wise, it wouldn't make as much sense to have the dad kill his son. The context for why it wouldn't make sense is because the father wanted to torture his son, not kill him. Remember, the car thing wasn't planned, the father pushed the son to do SOMETHING to kill Do Do-hee. That's the only reason I CAN'T say the father staged his son's suicide (plan to murder his son and make it look like a suicide aka staged/set-up suicide). Also, not sure if you noticed it, but the design of the tattoo on Gu-won is the exact replica of the cross necklace from his and Do Do-hee's past. The lower part of the cross necklace and the tattoo have an edge that doesn't make a complete bottom part of the cross, kind of like a...jagged edge.

2024-03-11 18:16:51 +0000 UTCspoilers (?) to answer one of your q's about how wolsim = do hee, i think it's just that wolsim is do hee's past life? not that i would know if korea has general beliefs about reincarnation but in a show with a lot of religious symbolism, i wouldn't put it past the writers to make use of that idea~ i'm sure you got to this conclusion eventually bestie but i also think the show didn't explicitly mention it (i might be mistaken lol), so fairly enough, it was a lot of expecting us to fill in that blank haha
