DAMN. This episode, really. Also noticing the lead demon guy looking more and more like Sungchan or vice-versa? Whichever, they resemble eachother, especially NCT 2020 Sungchan. Also I'm with you on not trusting the 'OPPA' guy, he feels like a vulture character (not just because of his immoral chaebol family). You know, IF demon guy dies, this 'OPPA' mofo will go and snatch up Do Do-Hee like nothing just because he can with demon guy not in his way. What I'm saying is that the 'OPPA' guy is not in love with her at all, he's also easy to read for how scummy he is, so yeah, no different from his rotten family (the ones still alive; I don't agree with how the main head, Ju, treated Do Do-Hee, but they had some weird understanding with eachother despite her harsh words and it's clear to see that Do Do-Hee really loved and appreciated her, so it wasn't like mentally abusive. HOWEVER that one flashback with her first meeting Do Do-Hee as a child was very mentally abusive and rubbed me the wrong way when I saw it, especially since the child had just lost her parents and this woman was just berating her for no reason). Either way, Madam Ju (?) really loved Do Do-Hee and nobody else in that cursed family ever did. ALSO getting InuYasha flashbacks with Star Jin (crazy woman with the sword, sword dancer) and Jeong...(? Like NCT Jaehyun? Lol). The flashback to her childhood was like Rin and Sesshoumaru, but the dreams Jeong/demon guy is having reminds me of InuYasha and Kikyo. So I was thinking "OH NO, Jeong was in love with Star Jin in his human life" but they haven't really given us much more to go on, just that he knew of her as a human. FIGHTING FOR JEONG AND DO DO-HEE.
