A Nice Day at the Beach ☀️
For the second year in a row, I get to showcase new swimwear and create a cute little scene for the occasion. Thanks to the newly improved terrain tools, I’ve created this beach for our Parafolks to enjoy. It was a very relaxing and easy build to do! 😌

Time to have a closer look at the new content, starting with the hairstyles:
A modern twist on the bowl-cut. It’s a classic, so we needed it!
The new messy bun for curly hair created by Sonia is a must-have when you don’t feel like dealing with your curls ✨
The new boxer braids hairstyle I created, a staple for longer hair!
But what about the swimwear? Everything is compatible with Patterns and the two-piece sets can be mixed and matched for even more customization!
I’ve created a high-waisted bikini for a timeless look.
Sonia designed this adorable bikini, which works great with patterns!
Finally, Sonia created an athletic swimsuit for those who want to take swimming to the next level. 🌊
Designer Underwear for our Parafolks 💸
Sometimes, basic underwear is just not enough. You want them to feel comfy and special. That’s why I created this collection from a world-renowned designer. Those creations are available with patterns to help you express the uniqueness of your Parafolks personality AND can be mixed and matched.

Lingerie Pieces for the Adult Parafolks 🔥
Lingerie can be underwear, but not all underwear is lingerie. Sonia designed two sets and a bodysuit for our sexy Parafolks out there in need of a fancy underwear option. Because of the lace details, those underwear can’t be used with patterns, but they can be mixed and matched 🙂

Essential Underwear ✨
Listening to your request, Sonia created a binder: a piece of underwear that will allow your Parafolks to flatten their chest while wearing it. While it’s possible to have pecs with a feminine body frame in Paralives, having a binder allows you more freedom in creating outfits for your Parafolks.
She also added basic cotton panties that are available with and without patterns.
Sam, Anisa’s friend from this video, is modeling to showcase the new binder and simple panties.

2024-07-06 07:37:55 +0000 UTCOh man binders can be such a pain after several hours (definitely have to take it off in time as per instructions, it can cause serious damage with incorrect use such as wearing too long, too small etc) - I get it's a cosmetic item in game and wouldn't cause mood effects or something but since it's borderline medical item irl I hope there's a note in the description or something

But I asked a similar question in the discord about the harsh back lines on some of the paras and got this answer from Léa: “The lines are linked to the skin color, every swatches will be reworked before launch, it's recolorable so we're gonna try to make your new skincolors less contrasted with the lines”

It seems very straight and has no depth to it especially on the braids from the side view. Not sure if it’s the dark color from the picture or just the way it’s designed. And I don’t have curly hair but I love it and was wondering if that will have a bit more texture too? If it’s not part of the drawing style I understand. Just curious!! 2024-07-05 17:24:06 +0000 UTCThe hair styles and clothes look amazing!💚 But I'm still not convinced by the harsh body lines on some of the skin tones, specially the ones on the back, the ones on the collar bone and the ones on the abdomen. Less lines or thinner lines in those places would look less like a sketch and more like a finished drawing (just how their faces look like now). Also they still look too bright in comparison to the room/place they're in, like they're highlighted, and that makes it feel like they're not part of the room 🤔

And another question. Might there be an option for Paras who lost a limb? The prosthesis could be like a "normal" hand but the texture could be the one of the prosthesis. Just an idea and because you could see the full body of the Paras now. Thank you for you great work ❤️

Paralives, don't tell the other ones, but you're my favorite. "Thanks to the newly improved terrain tools" Indeed ! I know it's not the focus of this Paradev blog, but these dunes look fantastic ! As a last sidenote : my first Para is very likely to look like the redhead in the emerald set. That's usually my go-to XD Do they have a name ? The mixing and matching argument is really a big sell. With the ability to use any color we like (and for many of these pieces, any pattern, too) broadens the possibilities so much. It's a great choice that perfectly aligns with the game's philosophy on customization. Paralives, don't tell the other ones, but you're my favorite. I love the details of the lace. I didn't realize that patterns would be impossible whenever there is lace (I thought it would only affect the "region" that does have lace, but we'd be able to use patterns on the more solid parts of the asset), but it sort of makes up for it that these outfits look so intricate without patterns. I'm also absolutely in love with the Para modeling the black lingerie bodysuit. More broadly, it's very nice to see that the new assets compliment all sorts of body shapes ; in That Other Game™ 4, some clothes only look good on a very narrow kind of character. Paralives, don't tell the other ones, but you're my favorite. Ah, hell. You can tell the other ones. You deserve it !

As an idea for summer items, it would be nice to see sunglasses and perhaps the ability to sunbathe and lie on the sand, for example, on a towel. Awesome summer post!
