🎵 Our Early Access Soundtrack Is Complete! + Listen to 2 New Tracks

We got some pretty exciting music news to bring to you today! As of the beginning of March, we reached the minimum required amount of music tracks that we were aiming for the Build mode and Paramaker! 🥳That is 6 full music tracks for each game mode which makes up to around an hour of continuous playback in total. We'd like to add more tracks before Early Access and, of course, after the release of the game. As for now, we shifted our focus to the sound design of the game and we’ve been making some really awesome things that I can’t wait to show you eventually!
🎥⬆ As you saw in the video above, today, we’ll be checking out 2 new tracks that I made recently, 1 from the Build mode and another one from the Paramaker. I’ll go a bit more in depth on the production and intention of each. This post is for Patrons only so please don’t share it, thanks!
Inner Child - Paramaker Track
This is the last track that I recently completed! It’s always been one of my favorites, and I say “always been” because it was originally a very old brainstorming demo from 2 years ago. It used to have more of an indie chill vibe but one day after watching a lot of anime (woops), I relistened to it and decided to add some J-rock vibes instead. We all liked it, and decided to make it our last Paramaker track! I chose the track’s distinctive title since, for some reason, it just transports me back to many childhood moments and makes me smile 😁
Building Blocks - Build Mode Track
In contrast to the rest of the Build mode tracks, I wanted to take a minimalistic approach with “Building Blocks” meaning that each layer slowly starts stacking on top of each other as the song progresses. I personally love this effect during gameplay as it helps you get focused and come up with new ideas easily. As mentioned in this post, there will be a “Day” and “Night” versions for all build mode tracks. The version shown here is the “day” version as it features mainly acoustic instrumentation. I am so hyped for the “night” version of this one. 😅
What's Left To Do
We’ve already talked about the music production plan at the end of this Paramaker music post. All I can say is that we’re sticking to the plan: we will revise the tracks, make the build mode night versions and get it all finalized before the Early Access. On a personal note, it’s a very nostalgic feeling to realize that you’re closer to the end than you are from the beginning as things come together.
Now, you might be wondering about the many details related to our soundtrack like: “What does the music sound like in gameplay? What about the other game modes’ music? Is there a Main theme for Paralives (👀)?” And I wish I could tell you more about it but it’ll have to wait for another time 🙈

It has the perfect vibes for the game, and I know this soundtrack is going to feel so nostalgic in the future. Kind of has a nostalgic feeling to it already.
