My mom did zero to take care of her Diabetes so I feel this on a molecular level. She was also financially irresponsible, stubborn, and self centered. My Dad was a very passive conflict avoiding person who smokes. Now they’re both in poor health and getting on my last nerve. I wanted to give the a C+ but despite their faults there are just some things they knocked out of the park so B-. Solid parenting.

So much wisdom is coming out of your words today, you don't seem bitter or angry about it, more understanding and at peace with your life experiences. A grown Man talk today, and it is absolutely wholesome. I hope the young men watching this can learn to acquire the same peace of mind, or at least reach a level of acceptance in going forward in their lives.
