Tbh, I wouldn't have minded the more simple character models. I'm more excited about the creative freedom that seems to live in every aspect of the game. Like, the lack of grid-snapping features. Which, don't get me wrong, is really good for certain games, and seeing as games like the original "The Sims" game was created a long time ago and it was basically how games were made in the 2000's. This game just breathes life into anew generation of game-making possibilities. The world of game development has changed so much and there is no reason to stick to old traditions since we don't need them anymore. The technology has literally allowed us to think outside the box, so why don't we do that more? I love Paralives and I'm here for all that this game means for the future of game dev.

It’s would be very interesting if you could adjust relationships prior to game start. So you can create a more complex storylines between parents and children, dysfunctional families, etc.

not gonna lie i LOVE LOVE LOVE the old concept para. i love low poly stuff and it just looks so much more unique to me. not to say the current design isn't beautiful though!!

I think it's not a problem when not everything is done at the release Alex. I can live with a waiting time for pets oder seasons for example, just give us the basics asap and then we can spend time in this beautiful game. =) Thank u for sharing.

I almost feel like I prefer the original design; it has a lot of creativity to it. It's a bit more abstract so there's more room to project your own ideas onto the canvas

Love seeing these, and would love to see more early creation ideas. I almost prefer the simplicity of the beginning stuff but am also blown away at the skill and detail now. Keep up the great work!

I can imagine seeing parakiddos running through the tree house while the teen or parent acts like a sea monster or something lmaoooo <3 you've come such a long way I'm so excited to see how far this game goes!!

Hmmm... the treehouse concept made me wonder, perhaps it would be a bit much to be able to construct a treehouse the way you would a regular house, but perhaps they could be projects for your paras to work on? Like the fixer upper car in TS2, with the ability to customize a couple aspects like color, and such. I can just imagine Sebastian woodworking in the garden to build a treehouse for his kid :)

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE THIS. I see some "masculinity' in Maggie's figure in this picture. Is this meant to look that way or/and if not. Is this something you could look at if there is time to? I would love to see the structure difference between men and women more than I already can :)
