I love how his albums follow their theme so in a way, you enter them knowing what you'll get but he'll still find a way to surprise you (for the first one, the songs in other languages, and for this one, the heartbreak). Empathy was all about forms of love: a first love, a crush, a parent, a romance, oneself. It was about understanding an emotion that transcends languages and connecting/empathizing despite that. Expectation is tricky because of its dichotomy: reality is always half of it. However much someone wants something, you can only go so far. You like, you love, you want, you lose, you grieve, you live to love another day because you can't help but hope that one day you'll find that somebody. You can play Expectation on repeat and stop it after I Do to get your happy ending. He is amazing as always. His voice conveys the emotions you get from the lyrics and the music. He truly is a great instrument. Thank you so much for reacting ❤️

2023-10-14 02:29:39 +0000 UTCSince the first time I heard D.O. in EXO I have been in love with his voice! His warm tone just comforts you like a warm blanket. This album is amazing and the acoustic version of LOST is my favorite, just his voice and guitar, what could be better? ❤️❤️

I just love Ordinary Days because it allows you to just listen and absorb everything, your emotions, the world around you - I was driving while listening and the sun was setting and let me tell you, this song made me bawl. Kyungsoo's voice is just so powerful and perfect at conveying different emotions.

I love all the songs on the album, but Lost and View or in my top 3. Oh his performance together with Lee Suhyun (AKMU) “Rewrite the stars” was just perfect!!! Did you see that Caitlin??? And Lee Mujin Service…my heart can’t take it 🥰…love your breakdown on each of his songs 🌸

2023-10-09 14:37:36 +0000 UTCI feel like the story started with the songs in the highlight medley, where he was reminiscing his time with that first girl (good times, heartbreak, regrets), but it ended in a hopeful note (sunrise). Then in the Somebody mv, he's contemplating opening up his heart again with this new person. Oh and with regards to The View, I think you were probably referring to the static sound of an old slightly scratchy vinyl record in the beginning of the song.

Love all the verses down to bridged part of it. At first my top 2 is The View but now Lost got that spot! I mean, i don't have to explain hahahahaha. When it comes to expressing emotions in a song, Kyungsoo always nailed it! Also, we interpreted the storyline the same Caitlin! 😅
