Really a masterpiece I really hope that Caitlin will go deep in Shinee discography I wish for that everyday The Misconception trilogy for me is still the best shinee album, waiting for this day to come 🙏🏻

Atlantis is still my favorite but this album is definitely up there around the 2 or 3 spot. I was very pleasantly surprised by this, wasn’t sure what to expect after hearing Hard but they did not disappoint

Only missing a proper heart-wrenching ballad tho they have plenty of those in other albums you can check out lol. So glad you've gotten more into Shinee cause they're my ult group lol.

2023-09-20 23:50:03 +0000 UTCGlad that you enjoyed the album 💕 Funfact the person who wrote the lyrics for both Identity and gravity is a SHINee fan and the gravity has references to names of some of SHINee and Jonghyun song names & other references As for their b-sides sound, they do love funky songs and songs that has nostalgic (70’s, 80’s, 90’s) feel especially since 2015. Earlier albums were a mix of rnb and electropop then it evolved and is like how you listened to a lot of b-sides here They are very different from other sm boy groups bsides when it comes to that because other sm boy groups focus more on rnb for most of their bsides and while SHINee do have lots of rnb songs and still do rnb, they don’t really make it the focus genre of the albums anymore, so like I said they really love funky songs a lot. Also, they are very expected when it comes to bsides and title tracks because they do whatever they want really and they made their signature sound in their voices together instead of certain sound, a lot of their albums even the solo albums are conceptual either in terms of a sound through the entire album, or topic of lyrics or the idea itself of the concept One of the reasons I am obsessed with this album is how they did the whole 15 anniversary album like this by also having songs that reflects their own solo music as well: 10x > Jonghyun, Identity > Key, Sweet Misery > Taemin, Insomnia > Minho & Gravity > Onew Anyway I love this album a lot and it’s my favorite boy group album of the year so far, I love disco influenced songs so I was in love with satellite, it’s my favorite bside of the year overall. My top3 bsides of this album are satellite, identity and sweet misery

My fav are 10x - this song was love at first listen, just everything I love is in this song! The other one that I always come back to is Insomnia.

2023-09-20 20:22:29 +0000 UTCLove this album. This is actually my first SHINEE album as well. I just kept listening to this from top to bottom when it came out. Hard to pick top 3. Excluding HARD and JUICE as they are a given, my fav B side is Idenity. They streamed their Concert in Beyond LIve the weekend right before the album dropped, and they had 90 % of the songs in stages (just like NCT Nation). It was amazing.

Such a surprise I mean I am always happy when you upload seeing one of my favorite groups always doubles that hahaha, gravity is such a beautifully written song, it pulls a lot of references from shinee and jonghyun songs so it has a special place in my heart and of course I love shinee ballads gives me appreciation for good layering, production and vocals. Honestly listening to the album I was SO nostalgic - TVXQ SHINEE and SUJU are my favourite 2nd gen groups and this album had me dead because that's that sound and vocal style I've been missing, ESPECIALLY with Satelite and Identity it's that 2nd gen b-side sound. I love it so much <333 Judging by your reaction particularly to Identity, I feel like you'd love it too~ , plus you reacted to a lot of EXO b-sides so you know that SM production is insane. My personal favourites Satelite and Identity but it's so hard to choose honestly <3 (damn this album made me miss tvxq and sj a little bit . I need sm to let them make music LMAO)

However it felt so nostalgic listening to the other songs, I feel like the rest have a more 2nd Gen sound, especially identity. While listening to this album all I could think about were the good old days of kpop, when things were simple. I also couldn't help but think of how proud our Jonghyunnie must be of our boys, while listening to sweet misery, I couldn't help but think of him. I'm so proud of them. This album was incredible and I love the fact that they had their 2nd gen sound. This album definitely made my personal hall of Fame. However, sweet misery has to be my favourite off this album.❣️❣️
