Champagne is perfect for new years!

I love the idea of being able to add food from our parents culture! THis being a life sim, I'd love it if my parents culture (Korea) could be represented.

A lot of holidays previously mentioned are US holidays... If they all are going to be featured I would love if it was possible to remove / create your own holidays

Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day or 4th of July...getting to decorate and cook holiday foods, invite family or friends, gift exchange, holiday themed events, maybe townsquare has something happening? Holiday inspired tv shows, music and spirit, stores and city remind you of the holiday... trick or treating and decorating your lawn.. maybe there's a contest for best house decorated... cookie sales? Some may like the holidays others may not. My ideas and dreams are endless.

one thing that drives me crazy about the sims is that they can't give each other presents! to me that's a huge oversight in terms of simulating any human relationship, so I would love to see it in this game.

I hope there are Holidays like in The Sims 4 Seasons :D

A nice addition to this as well, would be when we put the presents under the tree, would be if we could press the present and a menu would pop up where we could select who in our relationship list we want to give it to and another menu of what could be inside (maybe something from the inventory, something from the clothes shop, or any other random items that could be added) :D Thank you

There should be an action with the family when it's holiday season : like, hey it's xmas season do you want to start planning Xmas? If yes there should be a check list we can do until Xmas day like decoration the tree with the kids, xmas gifts shopping, grocery shopping for xmas dinner :D

I loved the idea of a hot pot. Like everyone could come together and share what they have like in My Time at Portia, but instead the more ingredients added the more enjoyment/relationship people gain or maybe people don't enjoy certain ingredients. Cupcakes also sound fun if we could all decorate them and make them different but I feel like that could become pretty basic and superficial over time. Champagne sounds very traditional but I'm not sure how this could be interesting.

What’s New Years without champagne? Honestly, I love all of these foods too. I love all these screenshots, but my favorite is the stocking by the fireplace because of the names on them. Hoping that means we can customize our characters stockings too!
