Sometimes these shows forget that they are just young kids being pushed to be great, forgetting they can mess up and be scared. This really showed that Xiumin is so caring and sweet even behind the scenes (even though there were cameras).

I just realized that while you’re watching the group’s journey, you also get insight of SM’s handprints are all over the K-Pop wave and how as a company they have been an unwavering and perennial source of groups that always make a mark in whatever generation. Genuinely loved your reaction when you saw that intro clip for TVXQ. They’re really one of the most significant groups in the history of K-Pop, they have imprinted their legacies in the books and I’m always glad for the appreciation you give them and Changmin! 😄

I really love Anderson's energy, Jungmin with his vocals (amazing voice) is def my pick too him being nervous is soo cute haha deffinitely stressful to have such vocals to sing. I understand where the judges come from when it comes to Japanese trainees, it's kinda easier for them to understand the meaning and vibe of the song but still if they get nervous it doesn't really matter if they undertsand the song bc they won't be able to do what they meant to do in the beginning. Really excited for the next ep and I'm so happy to be watching this with you :d Thank u Caitlin <3

I‘m not even a fan of them in fact this is their only performance I‘ve ever watched but it‘s like a masterclass in Kpop live performance and it will show you why everyone was so intimidated by the song lol. I‘d recommend the Osaka 2018 ver. !

Not only does it let him point out other inaccuracies he missed while watching the first time, it also helped him point out different compliments for parts they did well too so they know that something works well during practice! The singing part was good advice too considering you can just stand still and sing and it can be amazing and it doesn't have to come with crazy choreo (even if the industry is focusing on those things so not like it's the rookie's fault) tho having both is great than only having one and in this case if they're making music, where people might not see choreo, like on b-sides the singing is important. I really like this song so it was fun to see people perform it. Also the second team really got such a doozy of a song so man I am really interested to see how they'll pull it off. Changmin gave great feedback as well!

I think Sion’s name is really hard for English speakers because we want to say “Sigh-On” but the “Si” should sound more like “She.” I was an ELF before I was an NCTzen and I had to learn this for Suju’s Siwon (“she-won”). Not that big of a deal, but on the first episode you said you wanted help. Hope this makes it easier.

2023-08-25 01:43:15 +0000 UTCAll of the mentors have been so good on the show! I am really excited to see Team TVXQ's performance. Max and Xiumin were both so helpful and informative. I kinda wish Yunho had came too but it's probably better for the trainees that he didn't LOL man would have been there for hours breaking down every small intricate detail, love him for it. I've said it previously but I really want Sion to be the leader. I know from trailers that Leeteuk, the leader of SuJu will show up at some point. Part of me is hoping that he will give advice on leadership because 1. he's an amazing leader overall, 2. He has been called the leader of all SM idols

2023-08-24 22:24:39 +0000 UTCGoing into this I thought that at least half of this group needed to be Japanese for the whole show to make sense, but all of the signals I’m getting from the editing are screaming that only Riku makes it. I feel like they could’ve done a better job distributing the vocals on Electric Kiss to give Ryu more opportunities. We already know Yushi and Sion debut, so if SM truly thinks Ryu’s incapable of doing Jungmin’s high notes they could’ve instead redistributed lines from Yushi/Sion. Xiumin and Changmin were so good at mentoring. I hope we continue to get detailed mentoring like this during the final challenge. I also have to shout out to Sion making Changmin flustered because that was my favourite moment of the episode.

Hugely appreciate how much content you put out, respect ❤️ Second off as a huge Cassiopeia (TVXQ fandom) and ELF (suju fandom) I'm loving this show for the interactions and seeing them in mentoring roles, especially seeing suju still being such clowns (said affectionately lol) while being professional! Maybe because he's my ult, but I'd honestly would have loved if Yunho could also make it and give them advice but I think he was busy preparing for his solo album at this point (which is fantastic btw!). Half-jokingly I think it was for the trainees safety haha - he's known for being EXTREMELY passionate and energetic, with Changmin being a chill opposite to him, balancing TVXQ out lol (although he's also passionate, he's a TVXQ member after all). That moment BoA mentioned with Yunho's pants ripping? He stayed dead focused on the performance with absolutely NO change in his insane energy, an icon really. I also need to give a shout out to BoA here bc I did see her getting hate on socials and whatnot for being very direct, I appreciate her being to the point very much, but that's maybe because I very much agree with her criticisms jdhdjdbcj I'm VERY excited for the Why performance (especially knowing how during the SMTOWN livestream it made you speechless lol), since honestly there's nothing better than powerful TVXQ songs, they're very hard but if one pulls it off? Huge reward. TO1's performance on RTK comes to mind tbh. Very excited for Daeyoung to show off his skills, I think this performance will make or break him being in my top 4 along with Riku, Jungmin, and Minjae! Can't wait for next week!
