404 file not found hits so hard now... the lyrics about him becoming a black star and even if he's not here, he'll continue to shine on us 😭 i still can't accept that he's going to e-word soon... taeyong... And the way he talks about the other stars around him(probably the other members?) And the darker/dimmer he is, the brighter the others will shine 😭 it takes me to the lost boys documentary and how much he has to bear for the group as the leader, the hard work he's done from the start to get to where he is now.... 😭😭😭

He just deserves the world! But my favorite songs were definitely 404, Ruby, and Virtual Insanity. Every single one of them were great though! Love your reactions!

I NEED him to perform "Ruby" live. Btw, Ruby was his doggie that he loved so much. He even has a tattoo of her and Doyoung made him a necklace based on Taeyong's sister's drawing of Ruby. Even if you don't react to it, please do yourself a favor and watch "Definition of Taeyong" and "Choose T or Y Track Film." You will learn a lot and love them both. Taeyong is truly something special. I don't know anyone like him! What an incredible artist and amazing human being!

Ruby got me and 404 after that felt like the next chapter of Ruby musically, and was so vulnerable as well in his expression gosh. I also was hoping for more Wendy in the feature song, but of course it was also perfectly executed as it was. Ruby hit me so hard with zero context and no lyrics except what I could understand in English it was just the combination of that low end and instrumental with his incredible vocals. And I was hanging in there but with tears in my eyes and then I kind of was crying through the beginning of 404 like just processing and also the sound of 404 was getting me. Gwando is so gorgeous. Virtual Insanity is so cool. I have a hard time ranking those after Ruby they're kind of all together in my mind.

But idols with dual citizenship still need to do the military service in Korea.

My personal picks are 404, Ruby then Virtual Insanity/Shalala. And special call out to that electric guitar solo in 404??!! that's when it took the #1 spot for me. It's been awhile since I'm so impressed by an entire album. Can't wait to receive the physical albums and die few more times lol

Funfacts: Ruby is the name of his Dog, which has passed away and he has tattoo of Ruby on his arm 🥲. Virtual Insanity was GTA 2, he has this song at his soundclouds along with the original GTA, and he has performed GTA at SuperM concerts (if you want to check it out on your own time). Back to the past, I think is about the stories of his past and all of the negative news happened to him during that period of times. Gwando, if I remember correctly was plan to be the tittle song, before they changed it to Shalala. AGAIN THANK YOU, I always enjoyed your NCT reactions 🤍🩵

The fact that the lyrics was the thing he said after Ruby passed away too, even SM staff were crying when he played the demo. and knowing his struggle and how 404 is the song for himself too...sigh Thank you for the reaction! hopefully you react to other teasers and promotions he's doing <3

Composing, writing and participating in each of the songs, in the concept and everything just shows what Lee Taeyong is capable of. I can't stop listening to the whole album, he really gave us such a personal and vulnerable album and I really appreciate that. My heart is full of joy for him seeing that he is very happy with the album and that the fans love it. My top 3 favorites must be Ruby, 404 File Not Found, and Back to the Past. We all know Taeyong isn’t shy when comes to fashion and trying different looks. I can’t wait for the music shows to upload his stages. Also like you said, he really works hard and it takes a lot of dedication to perform the way he does. I have a bad back and I can’t even think to walk for extended times some days (I miss my walks 😞) and he’s out there doing 3hr concerts. My flare ups could never. lol

I just hope that he receives our good wishes for him because he is so vulnerable. I love how he shares and interprets his thoughts and feelings through his music and that he has it as an outlet. I too thought Shalala felt like such a 127 track that it was a little disappointing as a title for HIM but MY GOODNESS it has been on a loop in my head for days and I've had the BOUNCE 😂😂. I love Virtual Insanity most. Ruby is a tough one because it's so special to him but also upliftingly sad (if that is a thing) that I don't know how often I'll be able to listen to it. Just a really good representation of what he can do and be and I want all the best things for him and hope he's fulfilled. What an emotional rollercoaster the first NCT solo has been!

2023-06-08 13:34:52 +0000 UTCI feel the same way. He works so hard to make sure everyone is doing their job and that they are taken care of and here, he finally just got to play and be creative. Fave song was a sleeper for me, but Back to the Past has a bittersweet wistfulness to it that is 100% my vibe. It gives me Yestoday feels but with a brighter more mature vibe.
