KARINA woke and chose violence when she sang Outlaw and Mala :D ... I literally thought I need more of badass rapper Karina in Aespa :)

2023-06-10 13:25:59 +0000 UTCi'm OBSESSED with rose, the layers where everything is so busy is what i love about it lmao and then i love goddess level and alter ego. but i agree i too need to study this album because sometimes when i listened to an sm album i don't understand how we got here with the chord progression but they somehow make it work. also this album made me realize what a talent karina is... and how we as fans haven't seen the full scale of it. there are sooo many new sides of karina that i've found that i hope the producers will use in the next aespa comeback

Also, I agree - the second babybabybaby section at the end feels like too much, it feels like the song should be over and it isn't exciting or interesting enough for me to be pleasantly surprised that it's NOT over yet? Tayeon/Wendy combo is fully deadly. 100% This whole album, I really relate to your reaction. I hadn't heard anything but Stamp On It and I was thinking of preordering and when I listened... one song after the other just blowing me away. KARINA FOR REAL, I was seeing her in a whole new light. I went and ordered the album IMMEDIATELY like they deserve so many sales this album is.... so FULL of GREATNESS. For me it's 1. Rose 2. Goddess Level/Mala 3. Alter Ego 4. Stamp On It 5. Outlaw That said... I love all the songs. But Rose for me hits everything I love. Goddess Level, I LOVE the sax and everything about it tbh. Mala at first I thought was just pretty but the more I listen to it the more interesting it is, and I LOVE Karina's rap.

Also, MALA means bad in spanish but it's also a type of numbing spicy associated with Chinese dishes that is also super popular in Korea (hence they keep mentioning spicy). Just wanted to add that tidbit since I'm seeing a lot of people mention the spanish translation but I think it's so cool that it has that double meaning in spanish and chinese!
