Monsta X, IVE and other Starship artists and actors are part of that and for me it might've been even more fun than the HYBE one. Both fantastic entertainment though :) the format is just amazing

So they are considered a rookie group however Chaewon and Sakura were previously in the group IZ*ONE which is now disbanded because they were a project group (like how Kep1er is now). But IZ*ONE was insanely popular so Kkura and Chae redebuting in a HYBE group was HUUUGE. Which is why you’ll hear a love of rookie groups call them “Le Sserafim-sunbaenim” even though they just debuted this year hahaha. Sakura herself has been an idol for over 10 years…and she’s my bias! Anyway, the girlies slayed (all groups) and it made me giggle when you said you hadn’t dove into IVE yet because their slogan is “DIVE into IVE” 😝

That's the reality of the industry at this point: at award shows, and most other venues, dancing and staging are prioritized, rather than singing. If they were live singing, you'd be able to hear so much more of their breathing; even if they were perfectly timing it, you wouldn't be able to hide the exhaustion from dancing. Imagine if Le Sserafim, who said that the choreo for 'Antifragile' was particularly demanding, now with 7 minutes of additional choreography work, much of it new and very demanding, would be asked to sing the entire thing live. They are probably already collapsing after that performance, but that would wreck them, and anyone. But it's a question of priorities: there should be more of an emphasis on singing. Lee Mujin's Service is trying to bring some of that back, but there are definitely teams who are making an effort as well, at the cost of the dance performance, of course. It's all a matter of balance: if you are asked to perform at least two times every day for weeks in a promotional period, you have to make compromises.
