Last Night
Added 2020-11-01 16:11:02 +0000 UTCI thought I would have nothing to do but then my aunt and uncle called me over to their house for pizza and games. We arrived at 6 thinking it would be a sweet short family visit, and then they proudly dump pounds of weed on the table, open their giant fancy fridge to expose every kind of drink there is, and brought out the cards. We played Gin Rummy til midnight! I have the best aunt and uncle.. They had a big part in raising me, along with my grandparents, whom they lived with until 3 years ago when the house burned down. My parents were very busy starting av running their art gallery/frame shop since I was 1 year old. My uncle built a new tree house with me every summer, sent me down paved hills sitting on a skateboard, sent me down the long stairs sitting in a laundry basket, and tied my little trike to his mountain bike to drag me on trails. My aunt, a middle school teacher, taught me about gardening, cooking, crafting and to love animals. She had two dogs, two cats, two tortoises, an iguana, several chameleons, frogs, snakes, bearded lizards and various other creatures here and there. It was a charmed childhood, and now (after much contrast) I am living a charmed adulthood.

2020-11-03 15:51:57 +0000 UTCI noticed the Sewing Machine, I used to assemble Lawn Mowers at the Husqvarna Assembly plant in Mcrae, GA until I was terminated due to too many excused absences because I had to take my wife to her chemo treatments and pet scans prior to her death. But that doesn't reflect on the sewing machine, just the company and it is a bit of trivia. I love the dance and the wonderful story.
