I have never heard a more brilliant solution for healing hate. It's easy for us to get riled up and separate into groups that never challenge our identities and beliefs. It's a sign of insecurity, when you refuse to hear an opposing view point, and it should be questioned. This woman is extremely secure in her identity and so brave as to hear out the beliefs of people who had nothing but hate for her, and to find something deeper to connect with. So brilliant, please do yourself a favor and have a listen, maybe while you're driving here and there, or doing house chores, or instead of bike watching TV. This is the kind of message I hope every day to spread into the world. There is love enough for everyone, somewhere inside them. If we can nurture that space that is universally lovable, we can become so much stronger together and brave into an endlessly fascinating future with new and more interesting challenges. I feel like we've been having out the same old primitive, tribalist, fear of scarcity, insecure power trip issues for an obnoxiously long time. New, new, new things to delve into!
