Devlog Whitefang v2.7 Week 1

Good afternoon everybody! I’d like to introduce our new format for news and updates about the game. We will be providing a weekly update on the project regarding what will be done during that week, preferably on every Monday. (Whoops, seems like I’m one day off already for this one’s schedule xD)

Since yesterday we had a vote regarding this week’s drawing, today I will be talking about the winner: The Mercenary! Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the poll. He’s going to be the first drawing to include a background! Depending on you guys' feedback, I may add a simple background to every drawing to be implemented in the game as well.

The Mercenary will be done this week, and the Slime in the next one. Unfortunately I’m only able to do one drawing every week or two, but as the game gets more known I will be able to shift my focus on this project more and more!

I’m really glad for the incredible amount of support we are receiving so far, and it is a pleasure to be able to work with something I always dreamt of. The creation of art/content and game developing.

As for the future of the game, I’m currently working on a new shop that will be available in Whitefang (to implement the new inventory and add more variety to the gameplay!) while also writing the continuation for the Tower of Wisdom story line.

New content will be added to the Gravel Trail, including two new mysterious NPCs that will make an appearance as you travel! Just like what happens in the Golden Fields Pass, you will be able to interact with them and get to know more about The Fallen Crown’s realm.

A new side quest will also be added. Since Shadow got some love last patch we will be opening a poll for you to decide what other character will receive attention in the following update! A discussion will be opened with the Patrons from the Trash Hero Tier to decide what happens with the winner.

Possible Content:

If I get the chance, I will be also implementing a new menu for the game: The Gallery! As suggested by the Trash Hero Tier, it is a place where you will be able to keep track of characters you’ve interacted with, re-read special scenes and have a place to see unlocked images!

You will also be able to know more about every enemy and the Victory: Sub/Dom - Defeat results will be unlocked after winning a fight with them (Read them without the need to battle against a creature again if you’ve won at least once).

This content will only be added if I get the spare time to work on it, which I hopefully will.
