I agree, but at the same time it's pretty hard to fit so much exposition and worldbuilding in a show. When you read it, it feels like knowledge you accumulate and it builds on itself, getting more and more interesting even when there is no "action". When it's in anime/tv show format, no matter how interesting it might be, they often have to cut a lot of stuff otherwise it'll end up taking an entire season for each issue, or it'll feel like you're just watching a narrator/characters read out the novel to you. Neither is really interesting nor feels engaging to most viewers.

2024-01-25 04:55:46 +0000 UTCYeah I think they realized by the second cour this show wasn't getting extended so they are just kinda jumping from main point to main point from the books to fit a lot of it in. which is partly why it feels so disconnected.
