But how proud can they be..?

Time to announce my next project.
So this might be a surprise to a few people, but the next translation I will be doing won't be from the list of the games I already had for the past months. As a matter of fact, around 10 days ago, I was contacted by someone, and he told me that if I translated what he wanted, he would pay me a hefty amount of $. It's not the money I would normally ask to translate any game, but I asked what the game was, and thought I should take a look before declining.
The game he was asking for was RJ166971/ RJ166971 (aka 我ら誇り高き、アルメリア第五騎士団!, aka [We are the proud 5th order of the knights of Almeria!]). This game has a unique battle system, plus a crafting system, so even though the art didn't strike me as anything special, I was instantly hooked. He told me he knew I'd like it base on my patreon profile, and he was right. So, I agreed to translate it. I asked about paying upfront because of issues with others I've heard about happening before, and he didn't mind, so unless he charges back what he sent, everything will be fine.
Time to talk about the game... As I mentioned above, its battle system is really different than your average rpg maker game. the characters fight on a grid, and they move on it while exploring as well. There are various elemental fields, different skills and passives, so this should be something rpg fans will like. It also has a nice crafting system. To tell you peeps the truth, I'm a sucker for crafting systems in any game. I used to play Atelier and Mana Khemia games on PS2, PSP, PS3... I think it's fine as long as it exists. And the more refined it is, the better.
Unfortunately, the art is nothing to brag about. It's kind of a shame, because having this game's system along with top knotch art would have make this sell A LOT. But I don't believe the art of a game is the main selling point, at least in my opinion. Sure, good art will make a nice first impression, but what's the point in a game where there are only 10 CGs, or where the whole game is vanilla rpg maker resources that have nothing else created from the developer? I'm pretty sure this game will be enjoyable for more things than its art.
The story might be sort of a cliche, but interesting nonetheless. You control Rose, the vice-captain of the 5th order of the knights of Almeria, and you are into the mountains waiting for a certain enemy to appear. Your troops have remained up there for too many days...so they are getting bored, neglecting their training. At the same time, a certain something happens, which makes Rose's heart flutter... But what is she going to do?
The game branches off to 3 routes. Depending on your choices, the game will become harder as well. But having the ability to decide your character's fate is good, right? I heard complaints about the shoku games I translated being quite linear, but this should be different.
Anyway. If you are interested, you can buy the game from DLSite.
That's about it for now. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask ♪

After you kill the Dullahan, you have to trigger a few events so that the story can progress. Try sleeping or talking with everyone in the camp.
